i'm considering heater i must admit. however i'm doubting is value more than anything else. 541k especially when we lock on ballers goddard and gibbs... but he looks a monty to average 100+ given he is pushing up the ground more and would still do some rebounding as well out of D50.

dependent on structure he is a good chance to make my team especially if i just decide to throw in heaps of FWD midpricers and stack mids and backline a bit. atm i've got God in my starting mid as M5 with heater/gibbs/hanley newman or broughton waiting. and i like the look of my team that way.

The new kick in rule should help him and he is a proven performer, so definitely a good choice.

I always traded Friday nights. The one Friday morning I traded (going out that afternoon/evening)- shaw in - was in the top 100 at that stage and lost a trade. I don't think I have ever fully recovered. Wasn't in my team in 2012 - he went in this year for about 1 hour but his now out again.

I've considered it. However, since I've got the cash, I've gone with Martin (Mainly cause of DPP). :)

What are people's thoughts on Greg Broughton?

No Ross Lyon, moving to a struggling but up and coming team, fwd/def swing, underpriced, but only played 15 games in 3 of his 4 seasons, big burn potential here, but also plenty of upside.

Broughton probably not the best to start with, he looks to be playing a more defensive role.
Perhaps a 'pinch-hitter option', if GC mids tire sometime in the season, he could be released into the mids and have a 6-7 week period averaging 110
Not worth starting with though.
