God said to Rodney come forth and receive eternal life...
Rodney came fifth and won a toaster.

After which God was so angry he did his knee

As much as we all want to see the genius up and about in the coming weeks the current prognosis is not good. Even a few weeks is a long time to have 700k sitting on the bench.

@reecehomfray: Ablett to have scans on Monday but Rocket said regardless of results they may put him out to pasture for the year. http://t.co/JGiJzNpcQk

So if you are one of the 55% of the top 2000 or one of the 20+% who had him last week or one of the potatoes (me included) who brought him in and payed $33,000 per point or simply a person who for some reason has 700k in the bank I think it would be useful for the whole community to come together and unearth who the best options are.
Here are the highest averaging so far but there are a few question marks over a couple of them.
Notably Dayne Beams and his shoulder issue.

I know it's a bit early but, surely no one match will change the perspective of the best players that much.
I'll add a poll, thought it would be good to get a discussion going.

Edit: Is it possible for someone to add an "other option" instead of say Steven/Kennedy.

This is me lol.

I trade, Beams and Ablett on the books.

God knows what to do...

EDIT: I think if I have to trade one of them that my player coming in will be Danger (or Priddis)

Tough one but i reckon
Goldy, Hodge, Gray in their positions and then probably Fyfe, Danger and Pendles .

Lids would have to be right up there as well.

I'll be going Colquhoun > Hodge and GAJ > Dangerfield. Don't have any other choice. Lucky I have enough money in the bank to allow for such trades!

Just having a look at the last 6 rounds of 2014. Only 25 players scored 650+ points with Jordan Lewis scoring the most with 813.
The decision on who people trade in for Ablett and/or Beams (if he goes in for surgery) will go a long way to determining how they finish off the season.

As far as the poll goes I voted for Goldy, Fyfe, Gawn, Hodge, Gray and Shaw as the 6 most important 'must haves'

The best ruckman by far,the best midfielder by far when fully fit, the best averaging fwd who can also provide ruck coverage, the next best fwd who can be moved into the midfield and then the two best defenders by far including one that can swing into the mids if needed.

Dangerfield stiff to miss out.
