This is the last time I'm going to say this:

'No more discussions on Adam Goodes (and don't use implicit comments)'

I thought my hint the last time was enough.

I actually didn't think it was an unreasonable request as owner of a free website to make a simply request as dropping the topic of Adam Goodes (for obvious reasons).

Moderators - please ban as you please for future comments on Adam Goodes; it's a simple request..No need for confirmation from me.

The only time I have to get on SCS is to moderate/admnister the site when I should be working... so please ban if required.

REMEMBER - Bigfooty Moderators get paid (and a decent amount, I hear) and thus they have the resources to monitor everyone. BigFooty charge members (on a subscription basis) so they can afford to hire moderators. At SCS, our Moderators are volunteers as it is a FREE website!!

Have a Question or 2 for anyone that can answer,
1/ was there a option for 12 team leagues this year ?
2/ how did they work for finals ? was it just top 8 and rest miss out ?
3/ did anybody play leagues like this this season ?

Not sure mate as we had 18 but in SC DRAFT LEAGUE, we had 10 teams and top 8 made the finals.

I believe that's 3 questions, not 2 mate, but I'll forgive the slight this time...

Am in a 10 team league and top 8 finals series, with bottom two missing out. Not sure of 12 team league, but imagine anything less than 16 teams probably just top 8 - not sure though...

Adelaide has been so impressed with defender Jake Lever it has rewarded him with a contract extension in his debut season.
Taken by the Crows with pick No.14 in last year's NAB AFL Draft, the 19-year-old was already contracted next year but has agreed to an additional season.
He's played nine games this year and his leadership and composure has stood out.

Thanks guys yea found out it was 10 man not sure where i got 12 from :p also it was technically 4 questions as number 2 was 2 itself :p
Wanting to do a Home Cash league next season but no way could get 18 people to part with their cash but 10 is more achievable

Defender Ben Stratton has extended his contract by a further three years, keeping him in the ‪#‎brownandgold‬ until the end of 2019!

Am I being blind, or is the Questions for Rowsus thread gone?
I think Rowsus himself said that he was not able to commit the appropriate amount of time to the thread hence he closed it
Ah, fair enough.
Yeah Rowsus closed it. It is still there (currently on page 2) just you can't post in it any more.

The amount of hours, well days/months/years really, he spent diligently answering questions in there was really quite phenomenal.
Yea, agreed. Really appreciated it.
I thought my standard had dropped a little, mainly due to time constraints. I am hoping that will be rectified in the next 6 or 7 weeks, and that might allow me to re-open it again. Of course, the SC season will be over by then, but it might be of help for some pre-season planning.

Is anyone able to confirm that there is no score given for clearances? It's been a theory of mine for a while.

Rocky currently has 14 touches (5 kicks) at 57%, 7 contested, 1 mark, 1 tackle, 1 behind, 2 I50s and 2 R50s and no clangers, plus 6 clearances, and he's on 44.

I think CD may place a much lower value on clearances than most coaches would, for example.

A clearance technically means nothing in Supercoach however the components of a clearance generally means high clearance players are getting a lot of points. You get points for how a possession is gained and how effective a disposal is. Josh Kennedy is a classic case of a player who could have 30 possessions and only 20 disposals because he gets tackled as soon as he gets the ball from a stoppage. He still gets points for the possession even though he wasn't able to kick or handball and his possessions are often well rewarded because they are contested in heavy traffic.
