Probably option two. You're probably already aware, but neither Bird nor Crouch looks durable ... although I don't see either as keepers, so that may not matter quite as much.
I think Lids will ave around the 110+ mark. Pure class tigers best player, no tags anymore and just roams around the forward line/wing. He is always going to be on his own training plan so he can play 20 plus games. We need him out there.
Thanks Johno. He's an upgrade target for me given his price, like a lot of other people. Will hope he has a couple of lower scores and pick him up later.
I had a look to see what caused his score to "pop" last year, and not a lot stands out. One thing I did notice is that his goal kicking accuracy was unusually good last year - back to his 2007-08 levels (before he got so many disposals). He might be getting better quality opportunities now playing further forward, although if his accuracy reverted to his career average levels, I think that would cost him 2-3 points per game. Not a huge risk, but at his price I'm probably erring on not taking too many risks.
Current back line with McVeigh, Simpson, Bartel...
Who do you take of:
Laid ($506k), Henderson ($416k), Smith ($415.5k), Jaensch ($408k) or Seedsman ($325k)
$966k left and a Prem/Mid-Price to be added to the forward line...

Option one by a distance for me. I like all those players at their price, but don't like Boyd (will likely miss plenty) and Goldy (price). Just note Smith and Sloane's early draw, but if they are intended as keepers I see that as a somewhat smaller issue. I'd also rather cop a tough early draw than pay full freight for Goldy or cross my fingers on Boyd for 23 rounds.
option 2 sounds so much better i think, you would think both will be top 6 in their positions, where as the other two are speculative. Well in my own mind anyway
McVeigh and Barlow is the better option. Both are proven SC guns.
Montagna at his starting price is the perfect upgrade target and Yeo is not yet proven although has showed signs that he could be in for a breakout year.
