So my SC starting squad is now down to 89! I'm hoping to trim it to 50 by the end of NAB 4:D

Can I ask where people are getting the SC scores from? Also, are they live scores or do they just become available after the game?
I am asking because I have the Digital Pass with SC Gold, but I don't seem to be able to get access to the SC scores through the Foxsports web site (which is wheer I used to get them last year). Am I doing something wrong or does it sound like there is a problem which I need to get fixed?

The only way to get SC scores during the game is through Fantasy Freak twitter, and I get the final SC scores a while after the game.

Afl live pass is amazing isn't it? The boss cancelled Foxtel, but to get the games live is just great.

Thanks for posting the free link!

HS PODs. ie: who not to pick

WANT an edge in SuperCoach? Look no further than the one percenters.

The ultimate in point of difference selections, this group of proven scorers can make or break your SuperCoach dreams.

Here’s 15 stars that are flying under the radar this pre-season.

HARRY TAYLOR ($442,700, Def) Geelong

Ownership: 1.88%

A picture of consistency over the past five years and must be considered at this price. Key defender with elite intercept and attacking qualities. Averaged 82 last year.

SHAUN HIGGINS ($514,400, Fwd) North Melbourne

Ownership: 1.87%

Silenced the naysayers last year averaging a career-high 94 points from 24 games. A bit more expensive this time around but Higgins remains an important player forward of centre for the Roos. However, he hasn’t featured so far this pre-season.

JACK STEVEN ($562,700, Mid) St Kilda

Ownership: 1.83%

Mixed his form last year but remains a clear and present danger to score big on any given day. Will only get better after finishing the NAB Challenge with 115 against Melbourne.

DANE SWAN ($571,200, Mid) Collingwood

Ownership: 1.81%

The champ was all the rage last year after injuries ruined his 2014 campaign. Expensive and only available in the midfield but if there was a SuperCoach Hall of Fame Swanny would be a walk-up starter. Scored 90 in his final pre-season hit out.

TRENT COTCHIN ($538,600, Mid) Richmond

Ownership: 1.81%

Was off the boil in 2015 but can bounce back with any luck especially as the Tiger Train gathers momentum during the season. Managed 68 in reduced game time in the final NAB Challenge game.

PEARCE HANLEY ($467,000, Mid) Brisbane Lions

Ownership: 1.80%

No longer a defender as far as SuperCoach is concerned but still capable of putting up big scores. Will have plenty of opportunities with Dayne Beams (knee) sidelined indefinitely.

JACK WATTS ($381,000, Mid-Fwd) Melbourne

Ownership: 1.58%

Tread carefully. That said, Watts has not put a foot wrong this pre-season and warrants some thought ahead of Round 1. Cheap and dual position status help the former No.1 pick’s cause. Scored 99 in the final pre-season game.

RYAN GRIFFEN ($489,500, Mid) GWS Giants

Ownership: 1.33%

Getting a bit long in the tooth now but certainly one to watch at this price. Averaged 90 last year after an interrupted and at-times controversial off-season. Scored 104 against Brisbane.

TRAVIS BOAK ($535,200, Mid) Port Adelaide

Ownership: 1.26%

The Power captain won’t be setting the world on fire but if it’s triple figure scores you want then Boak is your man.

BRENT HARVEY ($486,100, Fwd) North Melbourne

Ownership: 1.26%

Need a braver man than me to write Boomer off.

DAVID MUNDY ($612,600, Mid) Fremantle

Ownership: 1.25%

How does this bloke fly under the radar every single year? On the wrong side of 30 but averaged 111 last year and no reason to think he is about to slow down. A 115 in the final NAB Challenge game.

DEVON SMITH ($480,000, Fwd) GWS Giants

Ownership: 0.9%

Could be anything this kid and prime candidate for breakout season. Works hard around the stoppages and kicks goals which usually bodes well in SuperCoach.

NICK DAL SANTO ($491,000, Mid) North Melbourne

Ownership: 0.76%

Played just 15 games last year after ripping his hamstring to shreds and still averaged a tick under 90. If you look up consistency in the dictionary there should be a picture of Nicky Dal. All class.

MARC MURPHY ($556,600, Mid) Carlton

Ownership: 0.54%

Was under all sorts of pressure in Carlton’s midfield but Patrick Cripps’s rapid rise could see the skipper benefit with a bit more freedom around the stoppages.

MITCH WALLIS ($531,400, Mid) Western Bulldogs

Ownership: 0.28%

Boosted his average by 35 points last year to a respectable 98 points per game. Perhaps people are waiting to see how Tom Liberatore’s return affects him but his 104 against Collingwood would suggest, not much.
Murphy, Boomer, Mundy, few decent picks amongst a few ordinary ones.

Doing my first live draft this arvo, just curious if in draft it's a bigger pain in the ass trading out injured premiums? Am I better selecting Pendles, Hanners, Priddis, Rance, Dalhaus types who play most games?

Yeah for sure. I've played draft for a few years now. The key to draft night is not forgetting about those underpriced players. LTI's crush you in draft. You don't have the freedom to trade out say Priddis to Ablett if the scenario arose. It would be Priddis for middle tier free agent midfielder. Durability is my main focus on draft night. Good luck!

The AFL players have voted St Kilda's Jack Billings and Gold Coast's Kade Kolodjashnij as the youngsters most likely to become stars in 2016.
Players from every club were surveyed to reach the decision as part of the AFL Players' Top 50, brought to you by Mars. In an open race, Billings garnered 12 per cent of the players' vote as their tip for 2016's breakout star, edging out Kolodjashnij (11 per cent).

Fremantle's Tommy Sheridan (eight per cent) finished third.

Seems as though the AFL Players have been all over SCS recently :p ;)

If am I selecting my side based on winning league matches am I better off selecting someone like a Priddis & JPK over Fyfe & Ablett due to the superior game count of the first two?

I always start out the season looking to do well overall but I am going to change it up this season as I am in 5-6 cash leagues and want to win those compared to trying to finish high overall.

any thoughts or suggestions or where I should be looking if this question has been asked before.

thanks.
