Michael Johnson was pulled from the team yesterday with a slight calf niggle. The team is in Melbourne with Clancee Pearce as the travelling emergency.

Just some Richmond news... Shane Edwards likely to miss next Friday's match against Collingwood after having surgery on a fractured hand. Brett Deledio will join him on the sidelines, with coach Damien Hardwick saying he is unlikely to get over the quadriceps injury that kept him out of the season opener against Carlton.

"[Edwards] had surgery yesterday. He's probably doubtful for this week," Tigers coach Damien Hardwick told ABC Grandstand on Saturday.

"At worst he will be out for one week."
