I realized with Uebergang I can take the better of Brown / Menadue via DPP...

I think Tipa will be the worst of the lot, Adams the most reliable so they stay locked on the bench / field respectively. Yes?
I am considering Tippa over Brown.

Said to myself before the game that I would bank 65+ from Menadue so will roll the dice instead on either Dunkley or Davis.

Dunkley the better option yeah?
Yes, Dunkley over Davis.

Menadue got lots of ball with 17 disposals but is still lightly built and seemed tentative in tackling and was missing in the last quarter. His 80 last week included two goals so I suspect he is a 60 to 70 SC point player.
Elevated rookie Jayden Short looked at home with 3 goals but will need to do more around the ground to be SC relevant.

Here is some info on Rookies and popular MidPricers to play so far this round.

The price in the last column is what their new price will be, if they score at their average in Round 3.

*based on my estimate on the change in the MN, so it is only ballparking the numbers!
I will add into the opening post of this thread, and the round 3 trade thread, for ease of finding.
I'm hoping to add the other games as we go along. (time permitting)

Horrendous skills but entertaining. Don't recall seeing so many turnovers in a single game, with lots of kick to kick passages.

Treloar only 85 And Rance 75 - interesting
Sorry to bring it back to this, but I'm still finding this hard to swallow - Rance gives up a free kick deep inside 50 with 3 mins to play, gifting Fasolo his 6th goal and bringing Collingwood within one straight kick. He gets scaled up +2.

Treloar 5 minutes earlier creates a goal from nothing - dispossessed a Richmond player in a tackling scrum in the goalsquare and fires out a handball from his knees that results in Aish kicking a goal to keep Collingwood in it. With one minute left on the clock he gets possession in the centre square, arches his back and takes on two defenders to run to just outside 50 and pump it long to the top of the square. He gets scaled up +3.

I know Treloar was wasteful throughout, but it seems like this poor disposal effects the scoring of some crucial possessions in the last few minutes that kept Collingwood in the game.

Thoughts?

Agreed. I'm a Rance owner, and as bad as Treloar was with his DE, Clangers, and Frees Against, I thought he deserved about 20-25 more than Rance.
Yeah I call bull****. Rance was woeful and Treloar dominated when it mattered

I'm not a Rance owner but traded Treloar in for this round.

I think Rance played his best quarter in the last when the game was still in the balance. Had around 7 disposals and took a few intercept marks and was involved in scoring chains to help RIC build up that buffer early on. Agreed that he did have a couple of clangers late on in the game that was critical, however, I think someone earlier mentioned that CD have decided to halve the scaling of scores late on in games when it's close (be it positive or negative). I think we need to look at Rance's game in totality in the last quarter and not so much isolate his late clangers. Considering he was on 38 at 3-qrt, he was definitely fortunate to double his score for his last quarter efforts. I also think that CD left too many points in the bank at the final siren, around 180, so it had to be spread around. I haven't check the pre-scale vs the scaled scores, but it wouldn't surprised me if most (if not all) got scaled up.

Despite the score, I was content and happy with Treloar's game, he can certainly rack up the possessions. Give him some time and he'll come good, 2nd game with new team who've had to make some personnel change in the guts. Watching the live scores, his clangers seemed to have been marked down a bit more than usual, maybe because of the area in which the clangers occurred.

The other annoying thing about watching the game was that one of Treloar or De Goey seriously need to change their hair do! They look so similar on TV and there was numerous times where I was cheering for the wrong man, maybe CD did too or I need a bigger TV?
