Only 16 sleeps away!!!!!!!

If your in Melbourne, lock it in your diary, all are welcome!! Will be at a pub in the CBD area, venue to be confirmed in the days leading up to it.

I will be at the footy at the G earlier in the day, so happy to collect anyone up along the way, will be having a bite to eat somewhere, maybe even at the pub if it does dinner.
I remember Philzsay at the last meetup and if Philzsay is at the G earlier then I can see Philzsay go in beast mode...lol

I'll probably be on the extended bench, waiting for Friday for final teams. 300ish for flights + a hotel on top at this stage, might chance it if I get a good last minute deal.

Rowan - so what was the crowd like at Tullamarine airport when you landed, did young ladies had to be taken away on ambulance?

Welcome back home mate and looking forward to our catch up.

I can honestly say, I have never seen the airport look so empty.......
maybe I should have flown into Essendon, seeing as that is where Philzsay's pictures were taken! :p

I was going to say 630pm onwards however I realised the Bombers Cats game I'm going to starts at 1:45 meaning it finishes around 4:15ish, meaning I will probably get to whatever pub by 5:30ish! I better drink plenty of water. So anytime from 530pm to 1am :)

In regards to venue The Mail Exchange, where we went to last time, is convenient although Car v Syd will playing at Etihad so will be busy before the game (and maybe after). Other possible venues could be:

- Turf Sports bar which is Queen St. - http://turfbar.com.au/
- The Imperial which is on Burke St near Parliament house. - http://www.bourkestreetimperial.com/
- Crown Casino in the Sports Bar (may be too overcrowded)

Any suggestions? With kids now I usually drink and watch sport at home or at friends place so not really an expert. Will probably default to The Mail Exchange unless there is a groundswell of opinion to go elsewhere.

The advantage of the Mail X I guess is it is big and close to the station. I am looking forward to meeting all of you, put a face to the name, talk **** instead of typing it, and responsibly drink as demonstrated by my use of trades and X v Y decisions.

Arrive in Melb the following Monday morning for work! Just can't get there any earlier as I'm away from family the next weekend. Very disappointed! Sounds like a decent crew forming!

So the general consensus is the Mail Exchange from 5.30pm onwards (I will be there early to keep you company and drink some water with you Phil)?

Can we have a roll call...I SHOULD be in!
