Anyone have access to H2A for Jacobs tonight?
No but for some reason I remember seeing 6 to advantage of 24 of his hit outs at one stage but not sure if that was during 3rd or last quarter.
If you go less than 33% usually not good for ruck scoring which that was only 25% to advantage at that time I noticed it.

How were Adelaide robbed? They were equal or better than the Hawks for most of the match but that doesn't and shouldn't mean they deserved to win. On a couple of occasions pressure got to them in the last quarter and they turned the ball over. They were also trying to slow the play down with 5 minutes left on the clock, chipping it around in their backline. They also didn't man up after Tex Walker hit the post, allowing the Hawks to go from one end of the ground to their forward line within 30 seconds. They will learn from that and be better for it when finals roll around.
did you see the HTB at the end of the game not given... 15 m out right in front?

They discussed that on the panel and most agreed with the call, 50/50 one for me i think, was never going to get paid with 5 seconds to go.

Brodie Smith was on track for a nice score until that final minute...
It was -6 straight away. And he probably wouldve been scaled up by 2-3 due to good last quarter performance. So overall nearly -10 for a seemingly legitimate defensive action.

Probably hitting us Crows supporters so hard because they have had it over us for so long. Plus the last game was that drubbing in the semis. It would have been so sweet. Oh well we did great.

As a neutral viewer that was ball every day of the week for mine. First action was to hug it in in the hope of being tackled

Just got home and of course the first thing I have done is checked how my team is going.

I find that by being interrupted by one of my sons when messing around with my team before going out I have left Sam Jacobs on the bench at R3 with the E on.

I currently have M Cox at R2 &S Grimley a tF8.

What should I do if both are named?

What should I do if only one of Cox & Grimley is named.

In the words of Homer "DOH!"

Hmmmmm....

If both are named, I would play Cox at R2 and leave Grimley at F8, Cox should have a better chance of getting close to Jacobs' score than Grimley.

If only one of the is named, then I would move the non-playing player into R2 to take Jacobs score and the other to F8.

2/138 from my 2 Premo defenders, not a great start, my team seems to always start slow the first game of every round for me (barring rd 2).

Was at the game. First game at the G in a long time. What a ripper too! Poppy absolutely clutch. Hawks are still the most clinical team in the comp and are absolutely brilliant to watch live. The roar after Poppy kicked the match winner was deafening! Lot of hope for Adelaide supporters, took it right up to the champs for the entire game. The Crows should beat up on any team that cannot apply the sort of pressure Hawthorn did after quarter time. After a free-flowing start, the Hawks really applied the screws pressure-wise and really forced the Crows to make errors. Think the AFL sphere in Melbourne has underestimated just how good the Crows are. Can see them finishing between 3-6 at the end of the year.

If Poppy wins the game for the Hawks I will do a vomit.
So it was a 'clean up in aisle 3' then Mikey ;) :p

As a supporter you seem to be getting your value for money at Hawks games lately!

Bought in Sloane, happy with his 100.

Laird was lower but am ok with that - got a lot more trust in him avg'ing and totaling more than Bartel for eg.

McGov on the fwd bench with the E, thinking I will take his 73...over BenKen or Mills - line ball maybe, but bird in the hand and all that. OR, I could bench Kerridge...hmmmmm

3/255 - now to hope that JPK still plays this week!

Jacobs got 75. Cox could score better.

Just finished watching the game, it was obvious Issac Smith did not attempt to get rid of the ball. Was lucky it was knocked out of his grip. Expected he was going to get pinged, had prior opportunity and clearly made no attempt.

Unlucky Adelaide. Tex Waker also had a tough call go against him when 1-1 in the fwd line.

Adelaide the real deal, pity, tipped them to win.

So much conjecture purely because there was only 5 seconds left. No, he didn't try to get rid of it. He also got tackled as soon as he took possession and held it for all of two seconds before it was stripped. If you want that paid as holding the ball for the other 100 minutes of every game of every round, against your team, you are crazy. Tex walkers mark was also not a mark. He dropped it before his feet even touched the ground.
