I'll put my hand up and say i didn't think Merret had it in him.
Looking good for a top 6 finish alright, Montagna great value and looking as tho he's close to bottoming out.
I'll second that, I thought by sure he'd be falling. Still think he will, but maybe not out of the top 6.

Wouldn't mind Hall finding a bit of form from now till the end of the season.

I am tossing up between Delideo and Dahl this week, skipping Zorko as i feel he won't maintain 116 average from here and topped out in price.

Anyone been watching the Richmond games closely? how does he look? is he building up or does Richmonds poor form stop him pumping out those regular 120's

Essendon fans were rating Zerrett higher than Heppell at the end of last year and before suspensions. I think he definitely has it in him.

He's only had the one poor game against the Pies where he copped a tag.
The Rich game was due to some CD misfortune.
He will have big games when Zaha cops the no. 1 tag.

I think he'll definitely be a top 6-8 forward from here. Much better than the likes of Toby Greene.

Pretty much when Richmond are winning, Delideo scores well. His scoring at the end of last year reflects this because the Tigers won most of their games in the second half of the year.

Last year + this year in our winning games (excluding 2015 round 1's score of 66 as he got injured this game), Delideo averaged a whopping 118.75. (Scores: 133, 115, 103, 105, 134, 141, 139, 90, 117, 85, 134, 142, 133, 125, 97, 107)

In losing games this year + last year including the elimination final last year he has averaged just 88.14. (Scores: 98, 123, 60, 95, 89, 64, 88)

Whether or not you bring Lids in depends on whether you think the Tigers can win games from now on. After Friday night's dismal performance I would suggest this is unlikely.

I was in the same boat. Part of my concern was that he and his teammates could really struggle to run the year out, so that remains to be seen, but he's certainly outperformed my expectations to date - and in difficult conditions.

From the Gold Coast website

Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall will not play in the SUNS round 12 clash against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday, with coach Rodney Eade confirming on United Coaches Chat the Tasmanian has been omitted from the side.

The 25-year-old will instead travel with the NEAFL team to play Sydney University at Henson Park in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

Hall had been in scintillating form in the early stages of the season, averaging 33.2 disposals across the first five rounds but has failed to reached those heights since.

“His form’s dropped off a bit the last few weeks, but there’s also a few things, part of his game that need correction that he’s dropped away in that he had earlier in the year,” Eade said.

“We’ve spoken to Aaron about that so we just felt for his confidence and for us that he needs to go back and rediscover that and just get the basics right.

“I’m certain he’ll be back. He’s too good of a player to be out for too long and I’m certain he’ll be back in very soon.”

2015 No. 8 draft pick Callum Ah Chee will also miss the game at the MCG after injuring his calf at training on Thursday but in positive news, talls Sam Day and Rory Thompson are both set to return.

Sounds like a return in round 14 is likely if manages to get a fair bit of the pill in the magoos.

I started with him from round 1 so I don't feel cheated like those who jumped on after his big scores. I can carry him on my midfield bench so will probably wait a couple of weeks for more information. I can always use him to get a round 13 premium in rnd 14 if he isn't back.

Still gone for me. Gonna struggle to get 18 on the park next week so he's come at a welcome time

Pulled the wrong cord with Wells. How will I go with Hall?

Was going to bring in a rookie and upgrade a cow to Selwood, or upgrade Kerridge to Selwood. Now wondering if Hall becomes Selwood, and Kerridge moves forward.

With byes and a very thin forward line its getting tricky.

Sounds like Hall could be back for Round 14 and should be back for Round 15. It's not quite enough to trade now I think. I traded Barlow after he was out for 2 weeks. Time will tell whether that was the right move.

If Hall comes back and gets any where near the Rnd 1-4 form, you'll have to trade him back in. I'm not so sure he'll get back to that scoring, but I'd hate to be cheering against him like I did for the first 2 rounds. GC have an easy draw on the run home too.
Different player but Davis got thrown in the 2s for a few weeks, did what he was asked and now he's back scoring huge! If he does what he's asked, Hall should be okay.

Similar to the Ross and Barlow situation.
Plays em out of position then drops em on form.
I will say though his running both ways has dropped off from the start of the year.

I think the main thing rocket would want to see is Hall put his head over the pill.

Got me reconsidering trading Hall now.

Think I'll stick with it though, dont really want to risk him out round 14 if I can't field a good team. If I have to trade him in again later so be it

Absolutely no way I'll be trading Hall.

Top 6 forward potential combined with the fact that he's too good a player to stay out of the side.

For mine, this is a pure luxury trade, and with 14 trades left and 5 upgrades still to make (inc. Libba and maybe Wells), I don't have room for luxury.
