Maric's score is a joke.

Despite Rowsus' stats I think Cotchin's score was fair. Dominated in the second half with 20+ disposals and heaps of hard ball gets.

If you have Dustin Martin and accept an average of around 90 then you need to raise your standards or you'll never get close to winning. I'm looking at upgrading him in round 13 when he has his bye. I'll have to just accept that I picked a mediocre premium until then.

What's this rumour of Pavlich being a possible LATE OUT?

Seriously, when I have a good start, LOL 1/111, Pavlich could be a late out!

Freo Captain Matthew Pavlich unlikely to line up against the Western Bulldogs. Hamstring strain said to be cause

@TonySheahan
yes, I have a source. A former player close to Pavlich.

To be fair, and upon reflection, I think Tuck and Grigg have been more badly treated than Cotchins has been favoured. I still think with his high number of clangers, up round 20%!!!!, and his low DE % he has had a little cuddle from the scorers though.

If u have cotchin in ur team u would be pretty happy with his next to fixtures bulldogs and pies. I would assume he would be scoring over 100. His definitely someone that I would be considering to bring my team

Although I agree in part Grant, I don't see Dusty as a premium - pay another $140k odd and you get Cotch who is a premium and who averages 20 more a game this season so far. Looking at it that way, Dusty is a better investment and still has good break out potential. Just my opinion anyway.

198/2 - Maric and Martin. Fairly reasonable start. Maric could have given me a bit more Points. :p

If you play Martin as a forward, who would you trade him out for next week?

If there was a boom fwd rookie then that would make sense, but otherwise? Chappy or NRoo maybe? Lot of question marks around.

I picked him hoping that at worst he would finish the season as F5 or F6, but had the potential to be F4 or better. Right on track as a forward keeper at the moment.

The problem with Martin is that we get annoyed when he consistently starts well but finishes slowly. Yes, incredibly annoying. But SC is about the final score not how you got there.

I have no doubt that most people would be content with his first 2 scores if he had started each game slowly but came home with a wet sail. Especially with the tough forward selections this year.

But as watchers, we prefer players who finish games well.

Question: why was the millionaire really, really unhappy?
Answer: they started with 10 million.

Some truth here, but if you think for example that say Mundy is underpriced for the same cash, then it might be worth the trade for instance.
I'll wait a little longer to work out who the premium forwards worth having are. Dusty won't hurt too much to carry but there may be an opportunity cost.
