So Harper has to get more than 3 possessions today for sure hey? Have been contemplating trading him all week but all the potential trades in all seem to have their own risks and look like mainly as a sideways trade.

Options include Walker, Smedts, JJK, Garlett, Poupolo, Motlop, Goldsack, Stokes, Hams.

Or hold fire for one more week and let either Harper or Macaffer on the field this week. Will probably wait to see who the subs are.
Been thinking the exact same thing. 3 possies is such a terrible return for a player who's apparently meant to be spending more time in the midfield.

I think i'll be holding him for one more week to see how he goes and also what happens with Karnezis next week.

Yeah, the extra money would be good to use elsewhere. But I just think that there are no other viable options around Watts' price. Monfries seems as though he can only improve on his price.
Out of curiosity, do you have Martin or just not being considered?

The concept of the rolling lockout is good to fix late outs and rookie on field or bench decisions regarding subs - I'm just frustrated as I've now missed 2. Last week it was Beams - effectively 60 to 90 points missed as I could have taken a few different premiums. This week Karnesis - which for me is effectively another 78 points missed. Arrggghhh - frustration... Must be more diligent before matches

Harper is beeter than that.

Do you actually like any of those options? Maybe JJK.

Normally I would hold off for a week IDIG but the main concern is that I have Watts, Newman and Karnezis that I am potentially looking to offload... So if Harper stinks it up today I am stuffed!

JJK has suddenly found himself the leading contender once I realised the Eagles play Melbourne next week, plus with last weeks score he would have to have two shockers or injure himself not to make some money. Now I would hate to admit that I got it wrong as I could have had JJK instead of Harper in the first place.... But I'm starting to think to put pride aside and I need admit my mistake and fix it.

Is Howe breaking out?
Howe, Nathan Jones and Viney at least looked like they were trying last night.

I would say yes he is breaking out, just not sure how much he will break out for a lack of better words.

Worried about pendlebury as captain,..... his 62x2 against carots and carlton last year costed me the weekly price...

Friggin hell. It is all happening. Had to use two late corrective trades this weekend due to Koby Stevens and Ben Jacobs both sub effected in early rounds. I hate vests. Koby Stevens yesterday traded to get Jack Viney in now Jacobs announced as sub today. So out of control with vests in AFL.
Anyway, choice been made. Ben Jacobs was originally chosen because he was playing as a wingman for North and expected to step up this year. For around $300 k he was worth a punt and hope could average 85 to 90 ppg and bargain basement D5 but already time to concede defeat on that one. I've done corrective trade to Hurn with what I had left in my kitty.

Next week two more corrective trades..... Karnezis plus one of Toumpas and Watts. Watts may just get saved by fact can only do two trades.
It basically now means my D1 to D4 are set for the season, Gibbs, Goddard, Hanley and Hurn

Has been a textbook "average" week in Round 2. None of my premiums have fired, most of them have been in the 80-120 range. Best two players so far have been Goddard and O'Meara who everyone has. Feel I may slip from 1400-odd in the rankings this week to people who had 1 or more of Heppell, Hanley, Watson, K.Jack, and Fyfe. Looks like, for the 2nd week in a row, Zorko is going to cost me - he's quickly becoming a problem. Don't want to sideways trade a premium this early in the game but if Voss is going to continue to strand him up forward for long parts of the game then it's hard to see him smashing out massive scores.

Captain Swanny needs a big game to get my score back on track.

I need Shuey to go gang busters on me today to make up for last week.
If he does not go well then most of my early season punts have failed. Only Hanley, Whitfield and Leunberger choices from start in initial squad are going ok as choices a lot of coaches did not go with. I need Shuey to get on board or this season is quickly going pear shaped :-(

Have Cox as captain today. Last week had it on Gibbs. I'm going to the game so might make a late change of captain if Gibbsy makes me feel another 150 type score is in him. Toss of the coin really between Cox and Gibbs. oops. Forgot I have Murphy too so guess he is another C option but feel more confident in Gibbs and Cox going big for some reason.
