Quick question for those who have won something in SC - how do the HS actually let you know you won something and then organise payment? Have not heard a thing as yet.

I assume emails, so check junk? Can imagine it would take a little while.

Looking through perfect 9 last year and realised i came first 4 weeks prior. Checked my emails to see if HS or VS had contacted me about the $500 prize, which they hadn't so i shot them an email and got a response the next day.
If your not keen on waiting just shoot em an email.

Last year I won a weekly prize in Perfect9 and didn't realize it until a few weeks later. They didn't contact me in that time so I contacted them directly. I would suggest you send them an email or give them a call :)
FYI, they paid my prize via cheque sent to my home address.

Maybe ask Jay as I believe he won something in 2011 and if I'm not mistaken, I pretty sure he cleaned up by taking out the overall 1st prize!:p

If you go to the SC website and check under 'Prizes', you'll note that the Major Prize Winners and Round 23 Weekly Prize Winner have yet to be publish. Probably still going through the checks and balances...

Once these are confirmed, I suspect that you'll get an email notification that you are one of the Major Prize Winners and details on 'how to receive your prize'. This usually entails completing a 'statement by supplier' form and providing them with your bank details for the transfer of funds. From my BBL experience, they may choose to wait until ALL prize winners have returned necessary information prior to making payment, so there may be some patience required on your part.

Edit: Read Section 7 of their T&C's

Man i hate it when you are reading a footy article, and you get the punctuation all mixed up.

Just read that "Josh Jenkins resigned" and i thought wow, *** he has pulled the pin jsut before the finals!

then you re-read it and it says "Josh Jenkins re-signed for 5 years during the season".

honestly gets me every time!

The trade period can't come quick enough for me. I want to say "No. Go away," to Cloke when he is trying to enter the Kennel.

Article about the SC winner in Perthnow. Sounds like trading in Nick Roo was his winning move.

BALLAJURA’S SuperCoach guru Graeme Fawell is the mechanic who refused to panic.

The 35-year-old appeared all but out of the race to finish as the nation’s top SuperCoach after slipping to sixth in the overall rankings entering last week’s final round.

But Fawell’s team Giant Killers proved to be exactly that last weekend, putting the pedal to the metal and scoring a mammoth 2683 points to be crowned the best of more than 223,000 sides.

Fawell not only snared the $50,000 main prize, but took home an extra $5000 for being the top-ranked PerthNow-registered outfit.

The Sydney supporter’s decisive move for the season was trading in Nick Riewoldt, with Fawell “screaming at the telly” last Sunday as the St Kilda veteran booted nine goals in the final round.

While he was thrilled to snare the massive cash prize, Fawell revealed his stellar season hadn’t even been good enough to earn bragging rights among his friends.

“The Giant Killers name really came about from the league I play in with a whole heap of mates from my cricket club — trying to knock off the giants in that competition,” he said.

“The funny thing was, I didn’t actually make the grand final in that league. I got knocked out in the prelim.”

Fawell said he would use the winnings to help fund a trip to the AFL Grand Final next year, while Dianella Amateur Football Club will receive a $5000 donation as the local club of his choice.

The triumph proved that you don’t have to be a SuperCoach diehard to succeed in Australia’s most popular fantasy footy game.

“I’m not too obsessive compared to most,” Fawell said.

“I’d say on average I’d spend two or three hours a week on it. I’m a bit of a football fanatic so I’m constantly following all the news and I have a pretty good idea about what’s going on with teams, players and form.

“But it’s not as much time as plenty of my mates in my main league spend on it.”

West Coast legend Brett Heady prevailed in the grand final of the PerthNow SuperCoach Celebrity League after finishing the year as WA’s 41st best side.

Bit of a contradiction there.

Well done to him though.

Haha yeah surely 2-3 hours a week would fall into the borderline obsessed category!
