I've gone 4-5-1 to allow for international duty. I'm hoping round 1 is a defensive paradise with the holes left by the internationals, new teammates and rough pitches coupled with early season disconnect.

I'll be interested to receive feedback on my side by the association football aficionados once it's all locked in.

I'm hoping for the opposite as I've played a 2-5-3 and gone uber cheap in defence. Was a fair few goals in the opening rounds of last season so I'm hoping for similar this time around

Yep, looks like he could be a decent pick too. Takes all the set pieces and pretty attacking himself.

Hoping to see a goal either way in the second half. A nil all draw will hurt as I reckon a lot of teams will have Geria, Devere and maybe Valeri starting..all players I don't have

Only positive is I have 111k in the bank.

The good thing I suppose is no need to worry about teams so much. Set and forget and hope for the best.

I'll probably start transitioning to a 3-4-3 now though I think, having cover on 3 lines will be worthwhile in the long run.
