Sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask this question & it's a pretty silly one (having a brain fade) but once the ball is bounced for the Blues v Tiges game tomorrow night, are we still able to tinker and trade players in and out AS MUCH AS WE LIKE as long as they are not Carlton or Richmond players?

Rucks are really doing my head in, still unsure if going Goldy or Gawn as R1, (am set on Sandilands at R2) or will go the riskier Nankervis route which would obviously have him locked in, therefor not having the possibility of still adding Gawn or Goldy. Sorry again, appreciate any replies.
Yes unlimited changes right through round one till the final lockout

A gentle reminder... don't destroy your side (and throw out your research) over the next 48 hours!
Been there, done that!

But i'm fully expecting Prestia to come into my team just before the bounce tomorrow. If i do that and i feel it's a researched decision, i guess i'm not really throwing out my research...just destroying my side :D

Another question. In the past i've used a program called FFGenie, which is a littel application that is java based i think that lists all the players stats and break even % and scores, etc....; its a great little program to use for Supercoash and Dreamteam but the creator is not going with it again this year, is too busy to do it again.

Is there any other sites that are really useful that show all the relevant stats for players break even scores and more in depth things along those lines?

I know Supercoach Gold has the break evens also but what other site/s or even programs are out there that can help with trades during the season for SC.

Thanks again, appreciate any answers.

Thanks bomberboy, much appreciated. While i'm here, i currently have Deluca as my FD on field which i'll use tonight having Pickett on the bench with the E. Is it advisable to also have Strnadica in the rucks for the VC/C loopholes? Will it make it harder to do the VC/C loophole with only Deluca as my FD who will be used to for Pickett, Eddy, Parfitt, etc.. as the Emergency loopholes? Eg: if Pickett scores crap i'll ovbiously take Deluca off the ground & put one of the other rookies on; my real question is will there be weeks where only having Deluca as my non-playing player will hamper me from also using the VC/C loophole?

As extra backup should i have Strnadica on my bench in the rucks or is this a waste? Sorry if this didn't make too much sense, appreciated any answer. Good luck to all for this season!

Not sure if it's been mentioned this pre-season or not but for those who haven't installed it yet, the app 'Footy Alerts' on iOS is handy for push notifications for late withdrawals/team changes. Just received one for the Lamb late replacement so looks to be in action for 2017 again.

Super handy when out and about on a weekend.

EDIT: Should also add that it seems to just pull from twitter accounts so you can get the occasional notification that doesn't provide much information.

People will get dropped. However, I am debating the same thing. Think I am going to avoid Strn in favour of Cameron. Deluca should be plenty, once you factor in that rookies get dropped, injuries etc. Views may differ of course!

I forgot about that app. I had it on my old phone, so will get it on my new one, cheers.

First Lesson of the Year:

Don't trust the countdown clock on the SC website. Always reference an actual clock. This is one I've experienced before, but slipped my mind in the chaos.

(Perhaps we can start a list of this sort of SC minutiae :p)

Anyone here followed how quickly it takes Footywire to add the SC scores to the players after games?

Wanting to know for a draft league that I'm in that takes the scores from there. Noticed that AFL fantasy scores were up almost immediately.

From last year the AFL fantasy scores were immediate as they were pulled direct from the AFL site and don't have scaling. I noticed the SC scores were generally available in Footywire once they had been scaled/finalised

I am about to look myself.
Last year they were probably slower updating that fanfooty BUT they at least eventually had the scaled scores. Fanfooty more often than not get them up quicker but sometimes they do not update to the final scaled scores so not as reliable in the sense of accuracy.

yeah, just see them a second ago...lol

Happy with Murphy score. One small win for the night in SC against rookie slow start.

Thanks bomber....appreciate the reply. Yeh i'm thinking of having some sort of cover in Cameron or Pruess and by-passing Strnadica. Good luck with the season ahead & thanks again.
