I'm a little bit unsure about my trades this week.
I currently have 500k in the bank & not sure if I should go 1 up & 1 down or double up or even still a double down again. This is my team..

Yo Yakka, how about this:

Trade one - MB out, Adams back, prem mid in
Trade two - (depending on BEs) Houston out, prem fwd in

Also consider EVW and McNeice as cash grabs in the backs, Parsons and Black as cash grabs in the fwds.

Then mix and match some combo of the above depending on what you are after.

Just spitballin :)

Yeah so I'm trading out my whole team for any inanimate object I can get my hands on. Also trading out myself for forgetting to remove O'meara as last weeks floating donut after a late reverse trade

image not working so

Titch:117
Sandi 105: (sandi lands on a good score but it doesn't matter because everyone has him)
Johannisen: 68 (one off the perfect score so cant complain here)
O'meara (C): 78 (believe that means he scores 39)
Newman: 59 (looks like I'll have to trade O'meara for a newman)
Rockcliff: 53
Beams: 66
Fyfe 62:
Witts:73 (this is getting bad gotta keep my witts about me)
Dahl:87 (not looking good dahl)
Macrae:102 (these scores are driving Macraezy)
Rough: 64 (this is getting pretty Rough)
Marchbank: 69 (perfect score, glad someone is pulling there weight)

I know EVW and Black in is the right answer, but mighty tempting to just fk it and go Gaz IN!
Any reasons why you're not going Parson's over EVW ? Is it just a positional need thing?

That's the exact trade I was thinking about but I'm not sure if I will have enough cash for both..

How sure are we Parsons comes straight back in? (secretly hoping he spends a week in the VFL :p)

I still think EVW as I think a R12 bye def rookie is invaluable. Doesn't seem like there are many around the corner either!

I reckon your starting side looks pretty good, but your bench looks shallow for both cash generation and warm bodies for cover and during the byes. Personally, I'd be prioritising figuring out who the best two or three rookies are over the next couple of weeks and focusing on getting them in.

If spare cash is really burning a hole in your pocket, you could always take someone who is dead wood all the way up to a premium. Something like Fox to JJK via Balic could work.

Some DPP rookies would be very handy coming into upgrade season and the byes as well. I reckon I'll err on trading in any DPP candidates, and hanging onto my existing ones a bit longer, just for the cover and trading flexibility.

I've got my eye on WHE > Heeney and Marchbank > Hibbo (Melb) as upgrades next week, but will compare to other options before proceeding.

I'm with you Bomber, I don't think he'll come straight back in to be honest.

If Black goes moderately well this week and Parson is not back next week as well, how sure will we be of Black JS. as we saw in JLT and similar to McCarthy, type of role means they can be very up and down players. Seen some comments the two players can play different roles within the team, not sure if that is correct?

Cheers guys, I wasn't sure tbh.

I thought he looked real good against the Hawks though but sounds like he and Black may be fighting for the same spot so as long as one of them is named, that's good enough for me.

SPP scoring well has thrown a spanner in my trading plans. I suppose he stays on now, maybe until his bye.

As much as I hate to, looks likely to be another DD round for me (note to self - it's OK Thanh...short term pain...long term gain).

Agree, looks like a double down for me too.

This is the main reason I went one up, one down this week, so it meant missing Hardwick and Fisher, as I didn't want yo to go double down 2 weeks on a row.

Now all I have to work out who to trade as Taranto and SPP have thrown a pleasant spanner in the works.

Houston will probably be one as he has done his job, but not sure about the other trade out.

have Otten , Marchbank and Hampton still making in defence.

Hoping Newman keeps his spot to rise and Stewart and Macreadie on the bench so not sure whether it is "worth" trading one if them.

Will either go down to Black/Parsons with Parfitt or up to Heeney.

Premium defenders are lining up to be picked though so will need to look at prices and BE

I agree. I hate it, but I will most likely join you in the DDD.

Double Double Downgrade
Makes sense, frustrating as it is. The only keeper I've traded in so far is Nank!

Hampton to EVW
WHE or Parfitt or Barrett to Black/Parsons
