I've had Ward in my team since Round 1... and he's been a spud.
But he has averaged 105, 106 and 112 in his last 3 seasons and after this week will drop under 500k, just one to think about as an upgrade target as I still believe he could average 110 from now.
Just a thought.

Currently have Laird and Jones , plus the 6 rookies and Adams in the mids

That's fair enough re Doc - I just got him in DT and am happy I did. Targeting him, Shaw, Joey and/or Howe to go alongside Adams, Laird and Rance. Not fully convinced on Shaw, but will probably back his record at a discounted price.

I guess with the Giants expected to win more games and flexing their muscles Shaw is getting less of the pie.

Probably about 10 players fighting for the Top 6 defender spots , just a matter of getting the right ones at the right time.

Shaw is an interesting one. He did much better in losses in 2015, which is a concern given GWS' improvement, but did better in wins last year. I was/am also worried about him getting more attention, but he's already played two of the teams he went low against in the second half of last year. I feel a bit more confident after a bit of extra research and I'll likely bring him in soon given few really good cheap options.

His 2nd highest score this season is 114.

If he hadn't scored the 210, you'd have little or no interest in him, and the 210 is gone.

It seems a low percentage play.
