Beams in 94% of the top 100 and 1000 teams.

Mark, if my understanding is right you won't be able to tell how many of them trade him out after this week?
Yeah thats right, you won't be able to tell how many traded him out versus how many sat him on their bench. You might be able to get somewhat of an idea based on the % changes to the most obvious premo upgrade targets but it would only be guesswork.

It's amazing how much variance there is in this game. Essentially if you hit the top 1k one week, you'e better than 60% chance of not being there the following week!

I'm coming ~28000 and am only ~600 points off the top 1000. From the extreme optimistic side that's 2-3 very good rounds away... and there are ~27000 closer than that.

Glad I sneaked into the top 1000 this week because that figure (logically) keeps on rising as the season progresses. I think the bye rounds will shake the top 1000 up again though...

Steele, J.Kelly, Oliver, Murphy all very high ownership in the top 100. These were the bolters that brought people into contention and they just don't show any signs of slowing down!

Surprised only half have Doch. I guess that will skyrocket in rnd 12.
Doch is a must have. I've been angling to get him for ages but haven't quite busted the right moves.
I've given up on him. Doesn't look like ever coming down and probably won't unless he starts getting tagged.

Next year Doc, next year :)

Wow. Beams was really dumped during his two week absence. Wonder how many of those were upgrades to the Bont.

And over 7 % got on Greenwood on his debut ... this is why I'll never win this thing.

The highest amount yet! Things seem to be stabilising somewhat although the top 1000 will no doubt get a good shake up during the MBR's.

It's possible that a lot of the top teams that held Beams dropped out of the top 100 or top 1000 in his absence but most teams up top would be trading pretty hard right now and will continue to do so until trades are ultra low.

I expect to see a similar dropoff for Rocky or any other 2-3 week types in the next 6-8 weeks.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good...
Savage PC!

To me it was just a calculated risk out of necessity for those that brought him in, and his price and DPP probably made him the only option for a Butler downgrade to possibly avoid a donut.

Him going big first up was bit of luck no doubt but as the saying goes, sometimes you gotta risk it to get the biscuit.
