Lyon appears to have changed tack and is playing his rookies, Brayshaw and Banfield still playing. If Duman performs is his spot to keep for a while perhaps. Mindful of getting these types through the byes for 18. Good as any I guess.

Lyon was quoted as saying if the rookie type players needed a rest he would rest them during the week (lighter training) not game day which is a good thing

Both to be in my team eventually. But specifically for this week, I like titch more as a VC option given essendon + danger injury cloud, however it means I have to trade in olango to get a donut (as English plays same time as titch).
If danger scores poorly tonight, I have no need for a loophole and can save a trade for a perma donut later in the season
At an initial nomination - Ronke's lowest score is Mutch's highest and both are the same starting price.
But where do you need the relief most Mid or Fwd and who have you got to trade out? This may be the key to answering this head to head.
Job security uncertain for both. Longmire has kept guys like Newman in last year for prolonged periods, but he was scoring hundreds (ie was playing more outstanding football) in order to retain his spot. Does Ronke retain his spot once Franklin, Reid are back up forward and Hannebery in the midfield? They've already got a lot a 6ft type, running players in their line up
I really think its a 50/50 call on that one PC. Selwood has been a staple of my teams for most years and this year is probably the first time in years he as not been in my team.
As I think its a 50/50 call on those two, I think the determining factor may be the byes situation. If you are carrying Fyfe, Martin maybe Dangerfield then another Rd 14 bye player may be too many.
I would problably go Selwood first, but not if his Rd 14 bye is going to cause issues further done the track then it would be Oliver.

Thanks mate - I think the JS issue is the key one for me. Ronke has clearly been the better scorer but I have a nagging feeling he could end up being dead wood. Mutch has been named on the wing both games (Ronke on the bench), which means something for some teams and little for others. At the moment I’m fortunate in that Spargo is mid-fwd and my other clear in, so either works as much as the other from a position perspective.
I wouldn’t mind if team selections made this a clear call on Thursday, one way or another!
