A lot of people said the same thing last week and look what happened...if you think he is going to be a top 8-10 mid from here then bringing him in I say.

Macrae this week, then bye structure depending, Oliver or Crouch next week.
Yeah but if anything they were kinda proven right, because the 189 came against GCS. Then Lions this week if he goes big again. Think I probably will bring him in, and Oliver fits my bye structure much better than Crouch, but will be spewing if Crouch kills it, because post the double midfield upgrade going Crouch would leave me with close to 200k rather than close to 100k with Macrae, which could leave me pretty close to be able to do a third premo upgrade in fwd or def without a downgrade.

Funny how people see it so differently... I thought Mirra was completely out of his Depth at senior level, his skills just aren't up to it.
Very true with our differing opinions, he beat Hogan convincingly in the air I thought after Hogan was bog at quarter time, showed his experience compared to doc and others whom still appeared scratchy.

Doesn't Clarkson rate 'skills' in a player very highly?
Beating a player in the air is good, but is that enough for Clarkson?
If Mirra just hasn't got all the skills that Clarkson wants from a player, then I don't give Mirra much hope of returning to AFL again.
But, Clarkson would have known Mirra's skills before he played AFL, and must have thought they were good enough?
But, displaying one's skills at AFL level would be a lot harder then in the VFL.

Mirra is one player I am considering to trade out this weekend, running out of time to make a decision :)
All this info is good to sleep on!

So close to a syllogism, there.

Clay v Matty Crouchy
I think Oliver will score more - seems to have a bigger ceiling.
Crouch seems more consistent but needs 30 touches just to get 100 so I don't think he'll ever pull out a 160 odd like Oliver might.

McInerny vs Crossley

Will get their score to cover NN this week and then hopefully never again.
McInerny has the same bye as Gawn, so Crossley could potentially add another score in there, if he's still playing.
Who scores more points this week?

McInerny for me - older, on the bubble, doesn't have the 'other players coming back into the team' pressures.

Not necessarily better picks but below 500k if you want to keep more for future upgrades Hurn and Howe look ok.

It's frustrating that their prices aren't dipping. I've been filling in other gaps in my team but it's getting to that point where I have to make a decision.

Apparently Hurley has been training with the forwards so hopefully that may lead to a dip. I wouldn't be getting him in, if that turns out to be true. I think most of us will get planning to get all three so it's just a matter of timing. I got Simpson last week. Keep putting off Yeo in the hope he gets another hard tag job but it didn't affect him against Fyfe so he may be the better bet.

I have Sicily already but is it better to have in my fwd line or back line?
Trying to plan my future trades so the X v Y I guess is:-

Sicily fwd v Sicily back
