Sorry, was on SEN. May not mean anything come gameday but could make sense with Daniher out.
That's okay, good enough for me. Was leaning towards bringing him in this week but I'll double down and watch closely.

Doubling down gives me flex on getting danger in case he goes bang (Pies like playing people into form)

I have Sicily already but is it better to have in my fwd line or back line?
Trying to plan my future trades so the X v Y I guess is:-

Sicily fwd v Sicily back
I have him and want him in my backline but, having said that this season in my side he currently is sitting at F3 and has played forward four times back once and as everyone knows not played twice

Longer term I think he should be in our defence ... simply because there are more very high scoring forwards than defenders.

Can I get a few names that are not Heeneys, McLeans or Grays? Struggling to find those high scoring ones
Greene and Buddy maybe once they are back... Dev Smith scraping through, Mitch Robinson perhaps. Mundy, Boak? A bit of value to be had with JJK or Hogan. None of them really stand out. It's a guessing game.

cmon MMM, there plenty of high scoring names.

Mason Woods, Westoff, Parfitt, Sam Reid, Buddy and Mitch Robinson! Plenty of history to back them up, some even come with a guarantee that their average will not drop this round.:p

Buddy and Greene are both pretty safe bets for high scoring on their return. Plenty of other forward options scoring well so far ... there are 23 forwards that would be in the top 10 defs if they were eligible.

If I was having a go at who else would be a top forward by year's end I'd be looking at names like JJK, Mundy, Westhoff, Robinson and Boak in roughly that order. Most of us will have one or two spots already full in either line with a Smith or Hibberd type, so you may not need to go outside the top five you and I have mentioned.

Greene I had last year and was annoying to hold as he would get suspended every 3rd week or so.
Buddy I am worried about his current injury, seems to be a bit more than a brusied heel would suggest.
Might need to take a look at that 2nd tier that you posted with names like JJK, Westhoff etc.

Fair points re Greene and Buddy. Buddy was looking a bit more reliable as of a month ago (he's been better in his last couple of years), less so today, especially given some of the chatter that there could be more to it.

JJK is actually quite a good option if he can get back to his former scoring levels in my view, especially as he'll be cheap, is usually quite durable, and has a massive ceiling. Could be an okay loop option, although I think WC probably still play late quite a bit in the second half of the year. Would also want to be confident on his role ... Darling and Waterman have both surprised in the upside, not sure if that has affected JJK somehow.

Thanks mate - I think the JS issue is the key one for me. Ronke has clearly been the better scorer but I have a nagging feeling he could end up being dead wood. Mutch has been named on the wing both games (Ronke on the bench), which means something for some teams and little for others. At the moment I’m fortunate in that Spargo is mid-fwd and my other clear in, so either works as much as the other from a position perspective.

I wouldn’t mind if team selections made this a clear call on Thursday, one way or another!
I think you got your emphatic answer to this question on Friday night!

... just slightly too late to do anything about it, unfortunately.

Seven goals and 10 tackles, first player ever to manage both. It's going to hurt this week. Fritsch on the bench too.

Fritsch should be on the field before Billings at present. Ronke may still be an option after this week. He'll surely have some job security for a while after that performance?

Yes, I think Ronke is an option after this week, although I believe he needs to keep hitting high 70s to make $150k from then onwards, so I'm not sure I would back that in. I'll think about it, but I feel like the horse may have largely bolted, well done to those who brought him in.

I had the same thought re Fritsch/Billings last night ... it increasingly feels like I have one more uograde to do than I had thought. Plenty of cash in the kitty for next week though, I might even go double up.

Webster vs Simpson
Depends on your bye structure and mentality I reckon. If you are ranked a long way back and want to try things, I'd go Webster. If you are ranked right up the top and are looking for a POD to set you apart, Webster over Simpson isn't a bad shout. Simpson has the history, is consistent, has the best bye and looks like great value at his current price. I would say he is the safe option and I am bringing him in this week.

Danger v Oliver

this week. Would eventually like both.
I feel like Danger is ready to go bang. I'd want him in my team as soon as possible. Oliver's BE only 75 but I feel like Danger is a more urgent matter.

surely Simpson based on history?

Simpson vs Yeo?
I feel like Yeo's scoring potential is higher so I'd be leaning towards him. I'm getting both this week though. Feel Simpson is great value at 501k.
