Port Adelaide
brief mention on the News , remembering 90% of media time is for the Crows , was that was pretty much all he did , so by choice or design not 100% sure

has had concussion issues in the past and is Port's most important player so I doubt they will take any risk with him.

BigRuss knows far more about Port than me so he may have more definitive info
Cant help you on this one mate, Sunday game gives him every chance of getting up though.

Cutla whispers that Jarrod Lienert might get his debut this week though.

My guess teams will be something like Bonner, Amon, Ryder out for Pittard, Trengove, Lienert.

Just mentioned on The Front Bar that Danger was supposed to be on a the show tonight, but he pulled out as he is apparently “very sick”. Described as some sort of “lurgie”which is going around. Doesn’t sound great, but hopefully its only a 24 hour flue

That's interesting, I was using him as my last trade in this week.

Any chance to implement a dislike button just for occasions like this?

BREAKING: CONCUSSION FORCES SAINT'S RETIREMENT
SAM LANDSBERGER reports on Koby Stevens. All the best Koby!
ST KILDA midfielder Koby Stevens has been forced into an early retirement due to concussion.
Stevens, 27, had already been ruled out for the season and it was reported months ago that his career was in doubt because of head knocks.
The former West Coast and Western Bulldogs player said in May that his worst head clash “felt like a bomb had gone off”
Stevens told teammates today and is expected to speak at a 2pm press conference.

I think the Hurn one is not to dissimilar to others that have gotten off recently.. However, I think they are going to have to look at validity of the 'turn the body and brace' defence one day. To hit someone's head with that part of the body is already leading to almost as many concussions as the clash of heads. Hurn never had eyes for the ball. By no means a dirty player or intended to cause the injury he did (he even tried to pull out at the last minute)....but I reckon in a year or so, they will change that situation to a one week suspension.
