Yeah thanks for that Stevo.. If he's a bit sore then it makes sense that he wouldn't participate in a 'light run' today.

I'll wait to hear from the club about the results of the scans before starting to worry about him missing this weekend.

Guelfi listed as 1 week last week with severe illness, Goddard, Saad both out but not sure Essendon would rush Guelfi back in?

More horrible injury news today, this time from the Swans.
As expected, scans have confirmed Alex Johnson will require another knee reconstruction.
And in a double blow for John Longmire's defence, star stopper Nick Smith's season could be over after scans revealed tendon damage to an injured hamstring.
The Swans hope Smith might miss just six weeks but with the Sydney's place in September not yet sealed, his 2018 campaign looks finished.

I watched the VFL on the weekend, and Guelfi was there watching - it was six degrees and raining. Not a guarantee, but he's obvioulsly not too bad. Whether he plays, however....

I watched the VFL on the weekend, and Guelfi was there watching - it was six degrees and raining. Not a guarantee, but he's obvioulsly not too bad. Whether he plays, however....

Guelfi had a bad case of gastro Crowy said last week. But that could've been a slight misdiagnosis or combined with something else. I had Gastro and immediately following had some kind of flu-like-thing earlier this winter, and was pseudo-quarantined for a few days as the person who runs the local practice said they'd had a few similar scenarios that month.
