Has this been discussed?? Lycett has slotted into my side temporarily if he’s the No.1 ruck. Only needs a 95 to be relevant as a fwd, not the full 110+
Talk has been that while Dixon is out Marshall & Ryder will play forward with Lycett the main ruck.

Expect Westhoff to play his "floating" position , not sure where Watts fits in and then when Dixon is back , they will be 1-2 too big.

Still think they played a better structure when they left the F50 open for Gray , Monfries , Wingard etc with Schulz at CHF , Westhoff floating.

@BigRuss will know more than me how they will structure up

If we were going off what we've seen today I would say Michael Walters will spend the vast majority of his time in the midfield this season. He's been too good in there and the other small forwards have done enough in his absence.
Every bloody year he pops up as an option with the promise of more midfield time and always falls just short of a premo fwd.

I'm certain he'll score well but it's a case of when, not if, he gets injured. I loved having him the first five weeks of 2018, then he goes down early in round 6 and you're left with a poor on-field score. He's also a bit streaky, so even if he does stay healthy *touch wood* then he's unlikely to get too expensive.

I might be crazy but I am really into JRoo at the moment, I like his bye as a fwd over Tmac (who is also experiencing knee tendonitis) and I like the fact that Lynch may miss a round or two early leaving JRoo to play Carlton. I think Lynch's inclusion may be a big boost for Jack who looked fit and firing in that AFLX crap lol, I know there are plenty of good options that will play midfield this year but Jack at F3 with a reasonable base (90) and some upside could work out alright? thoughts?

I’d be more keen if Lynch was fit for Rd 1..Jack could be a shrewd buy once Lynch is playing.

Think he doesn't provide much upside to be honest. 30 Years of age and I think he will play similarly to last year.

If you take out his injury game (Score of 3) - he averaged 97 for the season last season which would be his highest season by 5ppg... and that still has him as a fringe D6. Much better options available imo around the same price: Dunkley, Wingard, Mundy & Gray

Channel 7 news reporting that Joe D will play in Essendon’s first JLT game tomorrow night.

I will be watching his game, and recovery, very closely!

I think Higgins might be a surprise packet for Richmond and push his average substantially. Just looks gifted, another year in and fitter, was a gun junior SC scorer. Anyone having a sniff around?
Have had my moments but just dont think he will get to keeper status. Can see him going high 80's tho. I think Greene will score as well and he's cheaper

Not for me. Considering he skipped year 12 to train full time, I'd see his improvement here on as incremental. Ie he came in to the system ahead if most draftees.

I've considered it, but then figured it was probably just my tigs bias.
Not often does a second year player become a keeper.

It's a shame because I don't think we'll be able to pick him as a forward anymore after this year. Had already transitioned into a midfielder late in the season.

worpel would be the best chance of doing a Oliver especially without Mitchell

That reads as very promising to me, only needs 19 touches to go at 90sc with Mitchell in the team! I also didn't realise his disposal efficiency/ contested possession rate were so high, I would however expect the efficiency stat to drop with increased possessions/more pressure without Mitchell.

He really doesn't seem like a risky pick at all judging by those stats and locking in 90-95 (reasonable expectation) for 400k up fwd with dpp seems like a win.

PS: Love your stats mate, you're one of the hard working blokes on here delivering quality information to chumps like me who have trouble turning a computer on lol, keep up the much appreciated good work!

only 9 games last season , the opportunity is certainly there if he is good enough.

very , very tempting price

of forwards available to pick 13 went 95+ another 6 went 90-95.

Can Worpel go 95+ ?

Forget Mitchell , J-Bomb went 92.7 , Shiels went 91.9 , Silk went 89.2 & Smith 83.1.

O'meara has being at M5 for me in every draft for the last month id say, i was considering him before the Tich injury.
I am however worried about restings but he got through 20 games last year so i am pretty keen on taking the gamble, Hawthorns pre-bye draw seems better to me that's why Silicy is also a likely starter based on JLT proving he won't lose to many intercept possessions.
