I'm right on the fence with Dusty in this format. I'm strongly considering him in SC because of the expectation that he will be spending most of his time in the midfield so that does support him as a pick in AF but if he doesn't play majority midfield, i don't think it necessarily makes him a disastrous pick in SC whereas the same can't be said in AF.

Happy to have him in though. I like my fantasy teams to have as many common players as possible

I'm already dreading my confused emotions following Jack Macrae. One way or another, I know I will not be happy.

This one has me worried too in all formats ... was it just an aberration breakout or can he back it up ... in two formats I can roll the dice for a free look as there is always the option of a correction trade ... AF has no such luxury though ..

personally I think we need to drop Libba to a Constable/Gibbons and upgrade Sheed to a ultra premium

Is Heeney a must have starter in this format ? maybe Boak is a better option.

Hey folks, having been involved in a similar comp on another site the key is to agree a team by a certain day and time and not to change it after that.

For example if the team is agreed by Sunday 17th or Monday 18th everyone can lock and load it with no problems. Even if there are 3 Round 1 rookie donuts in the side everyone is in the same boat so I wouldn't be making any late changes.

If late changes are made they should be made after Thursday partial lockout say 8am Friday. That way everyone can know this in advance and tweak the side ahead of Friday lockout.

I am happy to go with whatever others decide team wise.

I am leaning towards dropping Witherden for Clark, freeing up 400k for upgrades to Sheed and Libba (which may or may not also include funds from downgrading Grundy to Goldstein). I am also leaning towards replacing Higgins with Worpel.

Can I take these changes as read, and then post some XvYs about what we use the money for? Or should I include XvYs that keep Witherden and Higgins in?

EDIT: The Grundy - Goldstein part of the equation would not be taken as read; that would be part of the XvYs.

I'm happy to do with whatever the general consensus agrees and/or you decide would be our best starting line up. I'm not attached to Witherden, Higgins, Libba, Sheed etc ... nor even Grundy for that matter.

Thought I'd just have a play and throw out another draft to gauge reaction and see if we can take a step closer. It loses our C options but tries to make up for it with a top VC option in each of the first 6 rounds (where we can loop).

I like this side a lot ... sets us all up well for the loophole options early on and plenty of scope to go down our own separate paths from round 2 onwards ... would still need to confirm C, VC and E's prior to the commencement of round 1 .... nice job mate IMO
