Tonight:
Starting Clark, Constable and then Atkins (E) ... I think. If Atkins scores well then I'll probably keep Hately and loop Atkins score on to the field. Otherwise Hately's out for a playing rookie.

To play on field? Already got Walsh and Butters on field so can only field one of Constable or Scott.
Sorry for some reason thought you meant in your team not on field.

I always back the older players with more mature bodies over the kids so Constable.

Need to start 3 of the following 5 in DEF - Collins, Scrimshaw, Hore, Clark, Burgess

Need to start 2 of the following 4 in MID - Butters, Scott, Constable, Atkins

Thanks all! :)

Wilkie vs Hore at D8, iv read one of Hore and Frost is likely to make way for May in R2. Doesn't seem ideal to possibly end up with Balta & Gibbons if Drew and Hore get dropped.

Scrim, Clark and Hore. i reckon the weak Gold Coast midfield will make life almost impossible for their key position players....forward and back.

Constable and Scott. they will both play as genuine on ballers. i'm not so sure about the other 2.

Thanks for your thoughts as well.
General consensus is Scrim & Clark so no questions there. Will be a 50/50 between Collins & Hore I reckon.

Will play Scott on field and since I somehow have Hately in my team and I think he won't play due to tonsilitis, I can (E) Constable and see how he goes tonight before deciding.

Collins for mine. Won't get a better chance to show his intercept marking than against St Kilda.

GC midfield being shocking opens up MORE opportunities for him.

disagree with this. the opposition forwards will be getting first rate service making it very hard to intercept.
First rate from St Kilda's midfield? Just because GC mids are bad doesn't mean they are any slower or worse at applying pressure than other teams.

St Kilda isn't a great kicking midfield by any means anyway even if they somehow weren't just getting no pressure applied to them.

I'd rather get 50 inside 50's as a GC defender even if 25 are really good entries by St Kilda, than 35 inside 50's against with 15 good one's by a different opposition team.

If you think Collins won't do good as an intercept marker against St Kilda there would be absolutely 0 reason to select him in the team at all considering other teams ball use.
