I wish i could trade Dusty already. I thought he was very lucky to get 60 odd last night. He was friggin woeful. If i was an opposition coach i would tag dusty and watch him implode.

It hurts me as a Tiger supporter but i wish i could trade out Dusty too, i had doubts in selecting him, but he was flying pre-season, over his injuries and niggles he had last year, was mentally refreshed and thought he'd get back to his best, his price was just too tempting also. Looks like we may have been burnt.

Need to get rid of Greene this week, but am 8k short of Worpel...

Collins will have to make way as I think the role + concussion just isn't worth it, but can't decide between the few defensive rookies... Wilkie, Duursma, and Scrimshaw stand out, but still seem a bit :poop:

I’m concerned about what moves I’m gonna make nearly traded in A.Smith for Pierce in RDT :ROFLMAO:
I've been like a bull at a gate all week but now starting to get gun shy.
I have Collins and took a punt on Hanley!
But I would hate to look back in 6 weeks time and see they made $100k. Plus they are both still warm bodies sooooo...…………...… I probably do nothing. :(

Any thoughts on Butters-Scott to get the bankroll going for next week?

Currently have $100 bank which is not ideal. The above would get me to $41k for a likely Dusty tradeout next week. Bont is at the top of my list, but I don't have enough funds.

I worry a little about my weak backline, although I can swing Moore back to help out. Current side with no trades;

Whitfield, Williams, Clark, Collins, Scrimshaw, Duursma (Hore, Burgess)
Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Oliver, Dusty, Mouch, Walsh, Constable (Butters, Atkins, Gibbons)
Grundy, Gawn (Bines)
Danger, Heeney, Billings, Moore, Setterfield, Drew (Parker, Petrucelle)

Keep flipping between Tim Kelly and Josh Dunkley to replace Greene.

Think Kelly could be great, but wonder if the go home factor sees him have a low period at some point in the year.

What did you end up doing mate?

I’ve got Greene as well but fall short of Worpel/Newman so would need to cull a rookie early to generate some cash, which is not ideal.

Butters to Drew allows me to grab Rocky which could be fun but moving Butters on probably means he becomes a rookie correction next week..lol

Otherwise I could hope Parker scores something decent as cover, with limited Greene replacement options if he really stinks if up.

I have Kelly,so I may be biased, but I think he’ll be keen to play at his best to ensure WC or Freo have to offer him big bucks to secure his services.

I'd be looking at something like Dusty > Scott and Collins > Lloyd. 1-1-6 Defence looks fragile to me.

Duursma vs Wilkie for Collins?

That spare money will give me many more options next week

To me, I think it's probably a 50/50 call, I have Duursma, but not Willie, but am considering going Ridley to Wikie this week, to facilitate Jacbs to Grundy next week.

For me it's Willie v Scrimshaw, not sure who has the better JS of those two...

I would prbby be leaning towards Willie just.

Good luck!

With Wagner, Hore (both dropped), Kent, and Goldstein sharing the ruck, I have a few options next week to fix the side before price changes.

Would that make Wagner to a playing mid rookie (i.e. Gibbons) a viable trade this week?

In exactly the same position it seems...

Done nothing yet as I think I'll go Greene to Worpel, with Collins to Wilkie to facilitate the cash. Will wait until teams this afternoon for Wilkie just to be safe. Feels bad though as I worry all rookies have worse security than Collins (obviously), and I have no idea which will score best. I'm genuinely just guessing at this point...

I'd loop Parker if you can - I mean, why not? But getting Rocky in for Greene sounds pretty appetising to me!! But that could just be because I have no swings in the midfield and have no way to get Rocky in myself

Anyone think that Hore will be getting back into the Melbourne side soon or was he merely a placeholder for May? Would rather keep Collins if he's getting games and get rid of Hore if he's not going to get a run anytime soon.

Yeah if rocky pumps out a 150 and I don’t grab him I’ll be kicking myself. Last year I didn’t pull the trigger with Kreuzer because I had rookie cover in English (coming off an 80 iirc) and he rewarded me with a 30 so not that keen to back the rookies in when there’s a pig like rocky within reach.
