So COL killing the ruck hit outs but have really gained nothing ... no real surprise there as the doggies are used to that and matching them as expected.
What I find interesting is it looks like two teams of "scaredy cats" walking on tin roofs .... who'(s) is going to step up and take the risks (roll the dice) ... I mean the scoreboard will tell the final story ...
Billings delivered games in the 40s and 50s, Dunkley hasn't done that yet. On track for another 80 odd. It's not want you want but it's not an absolute disaster which was what Billings and Petracca ended up being last season.

All these players play different roles as well, which greatly affects their potential upside. Dunkley is at least getting some midfield time, unlike those other two.
confused why people were so keen on Dunkley remaining in the mids , not only was Libba back but once Mr Magnets decided to play Naughton & Schache forward , Bont was always going to play more mid.

Feels like the 40’s and 50’s are not far away. A lot of points being taken up by other midfielders with Dunkley’s slice getting smaller. Smith getting amongst it tonight.

Easy to say this in hindsight. Probably because Kelly, Boak were all quite likely going to play fair portions of time as forwards, too. Just picked the wrong one (in Dunkley).

not sure about Kelly , although Scott declared a new midfield setup preseason.
Boak was always playing more mid time , Hinkley disclosed that preseason as well.
Probably once Morris went down , the thought was Naughton back & Bont forward , I gather Naughton has played F since Round 1 , don't follow the Dogs so not sure
