17/1607 Neale C

With Cripps, Walsh, Scrimshaw, Cousins & Worpel to come. Hoping to crack the 2k mark at the very least.

Having the round from hell and just wishing it'll be over now. So many disasters. Oliver, Wallis, Moore, Clark, Telly, Danger, Williams & Brouch. Neale the only score keeping me sane right now. Cousins over Butters hopefully works out today.

Fyfe out, looped Atkins then couldn't see scores when playing football and took Butters! Looking 2000-2100, at least last minute followed the masses and put VC on Grundy when I head Bucks was saying there was upside to his HTA. Alternative was Danger - yuk.

So the Sheed and BCrouch experiments looking like they may need to be traded sometime. Rocky? Still ok value, should we be bringing him in by round 6 when his poor score rolls off? Williams and Brodie Smith look like they need to be traded also, will let them have a good run against easy teams. Hopefully some decent rooks like Jack Ross can keep it up.

Dunkley's role keep changing, think CBA was down this week significantly. Has Carlton,Dockers, Richmond, Lions, Cats and North and Eagles pre the byes.

interesting round so far.

Danger . But everyone has him. Brayshaw not great either. Moore and Williams not great but that’s expected.

16/1510 crips C, Walsh, Parker, schrimshaw, worpel Ana Billings left. Hoping around 2100-2200 mark

I can't remember a round for a while when many teams will be lucky to score 2000. Even with Grundy VC of 320, I'll be lucky to make 2000. Some of my trades this season have been problematic - Heeney to Tim Kelly, B Smith to Rozee this week a case in point.
Anyhow, I've had a good run thus far this season (was sitting ~1200th), so we'll just ride the bumps with a grin, Hawthorn-style.

What a weird round of footy it’s been. Upsets left, right and centre. Also weird in SC land with a real mix of excellent and poor scores with popular players.

17/1678 (c) for my team with Cripps, Worpel, Collins, Walsh and Parker to come.

Rapt that new recruit Neale (c) was able to get close to Grundy.

Played:
Thursday: C Oliver, I Heeney
Friday: B Grundy (C), D Moore
Saturday: P Dangerfield, C Constable, T Atkins, Z Williams, L Whitfield, Z Merrett, L Neale, Z Buters, W Drew, X Duursma, T Goldstein, R Sloane, B Smith, R Laird, J Darling

Yet to play: S Collins, S Walsh, W Setterfield

Very happy with the current performance as well as T Atkins filling in for N Fyfe this week. Hopefully the last 3 can push me to around 2150. Would've never expected Z Merrett to outscore the combined trio of P Dangerfield, Z Williams and Z Butters but that's supercoach in a nutshell and apart from RD1 Merrett has been a great starting selection.

Terrible night last night - 1491/17 and will be struggling to crack 2000 from the looks of things now. Brouch having his nose rearranged and Sloane turning into a passenger in the second half when both had cracked 50 at half time was the nail in the coffin.

In one league I'm currently 116 down with another 160 coming from the Grundy VC loop so that makes it 276 in the red.

I'm thinking I don't have any chance of making this up with 17/22 on both sides complete.

POD's remaining are:

opponent > me
--------------------------------------
Cripps > Cripps (C)
Setterfield > Worpel

Other players remaining are:

opponent > me (other options)
-------------------------------------------------------
Walsh > Walsh (none)
(via Hind loop)

Collins > Collins (Scrimshaw)
Parker > Parker (Burgess, Setterfield -non POD)

Long story short should I try to switch in Scrimshaw and Burgess to try to bridge the gap (and risk a lower score overall with Collins and Parker looking like the best options), or should I just take the loss and look to maximise my score overall by keeping them as is (and perhaps even switching Setterfield in for Parker)?

1567/16+C.

Steele, Scrimshaw, Cripps, Collins, Walsh and Parker.

2100 would be ideal. Bad round, but I think I can bounce back.

Aggressive trades will be made next week given I held fire this week.
