Absolutely the worst... You gonna hold now or gone next week?!
Much to my despair I will probably hold. I am trying to use logic to convince myself of this decision however SC and logic seem to be further and further apart these days. Hoff rarely misses a game so I am thinking he has 18 games left. If he was going to ave 90 from the start of the season (I clearly hoped for more plus ruck coverage) then he would score 1980 points. So far he has scored 248 leaving 1699 from 18 games to get to season 90 ave. To do that he will ave 94 from here. Also Dixon will be back soon and I am sure that will change the set up. Do I sound convincing?

1563/17 - Danger C. Managed to dodge Grundy VC.

Yesterday was ****e. Ruined my weekend.

I have made one trade this season (Mundy to TKelly rd 3), so far I'm -109 points. Going well.

SC can go f itself. I'm working in the garden today with the radio and no phone. You may hear a scream and my head explode if the Hawks lose...

pretty bad round, but i have a lot of bad luck in this game. years gone by i have had multiple games where im projected 2300+ and scored 1850, so by comparison this ain't so bad : ]

but geez this game can sting in the way things work out. i have tried to be sensible and stay off injury-proners like rocky and libba, not chase their points expecting a revert to mean like boak... the only "aggressive" trade i made was also based on what seemed sound reasoning [heeney to tkelly] that ankles don't get better without rest... these 'sensible" decisions have cost me about 500 points minimum lol. so far :ROFLMAO:

on the plus side, kept b smith based on seedsman injury. so it's not all angsty. sometimes logic works. over to you cousins, you came into my team for libba so i could roll with grawndy combo, make me proud! [and less depressed lol]

Have you heard anything concrete re Dixon?

He’s listed as ‘indefinite’ on the AFL injury list, and I think was listed as something else (but not overly promising) like ‘TBC’ over recent weeks.

17/1613, Neale (C) ok I guess, but don’t have popular choices Lloyd, Heeney or Grundy so can’t see a ranking jump this week with only one premo (Cripps) to come. Will be battling to hit 2000.

Fyfe out, looped Atkins then couldn't see scores when playing football and took Butters! Looking 2000-2100, at least last minute followed the masses and put VC on Grundy when I head Bucks was saying there was upside to his HTA. Alternative was Danger - yuk.

So the Sheed and BCrouch experiments looking like they may need to be traded sometime. Rocky? Still ok value, should we be bringing him in by round 6 when his poor score rolls off? Williams and Brodie Smith look like they need to be traded also, will let them have a good run against easy teams. Hopefully some decent rooks like Jack Ross can keep it up.

Dunkley's role keep changing, think CBA was down this week significantly. Has Carlton,Dockers, Richmond, Lions, Cats and North and Eagles pre the byes.
Jury’s still out on Brodie Smith, scores 104 last night so has scored 2/4 def keeper scores so far, but you might be right about Brad Crouch. Still I’ll probably hold him for around another week, should still make a little bit of cash.

Scrimshaw
Cripps (c), Cousins, Walsh
Newnes, Setterfield

Missed the Grundy (vc), Danger had one of his worst efforts after QT I can remember, so now will be resting on the broad shoulders in Cripps. Not only will he have the Blues to carry but also the fate of my team fortunes for this round. In the spirit that is Easter, this round has been the round to break your 'duck' egg. Just like Melbourne & North Melbourne, the Blues will hopefully break theirs with Cripps playing a starring role!

I went the other way and actually traded in Libba and Rocky this week (for Fyfe and Scott) but it was against my better judgement and I feel dirty havng done it.

Interesting that 150 points extra it got me this week has a strangely cleansing effect. However I am not convinced it will work out well in the long run.

Do you think Seedsman being out helps Brodie?

I hadn’t viewed him as a likely keeper, so if he happy if he just had a few better scores and could be cashed out for a nice price pre byes.

in my opinion players like De Boer are a blight on the game. The AFL would do much better to stamp out this behaviour out of the game, rather than continually add quixotic rules.
I tend to agree with you apart from the quixotic part (I'll have to google that one). The elite who is being tagged by an amateur should be allowed some leeway to dispose of them and make them think twice about their tagging duties.
