in my opinion players like De Boer are a blight on the game. The AFL would do much better to stamp out this behaviour out of the game, rather than continually add quixotic rules.

I respectfully disagree. The ability to nullify a star midfielder isn't dime a dozen, and it's all part of the strategy.

Personally I think Sauce will be out longer than they are letting on , Crows like playing games with the media here , earlier in the week he was right to go against NM , next minute he couldn't sideways run at training , I am no expert but seems more than a knee knock.

If ROB is named this week might just go Balta to him via Bines and sit him R2 or R3.

Thanks Darkie, he's lost $100k now, will he bottom out price wise? will his form improve? might hold again for now, nothing worse than trading out and then form spikes. Agree with your comments about form and positioning.

It’s a really tough one. As bad as it sounds I think one of the upside cases is that someone gets injured and he gets a more lucrative role from that. Obviously you wouldn’t wish that on another player, but as a utility, and with injuries occurring most weeks, it’s probably not an unrealistic expectation that it will happen at some point. Their rookies will probably start to tire soon too, potentially driving a bit more change in personnel and perhaps role.

He’s also providing cover for me for Mummy, who I suspect most people can’t or won’t bring in due to having their rucks locked away, or because the risk of him missing is elevated.
At least Hoff is making that’s bit safer and I think Mummy could make good cash and points near term. I wouldn’t have picked Hoff just for that benefit but it is a bit of cream on top of a smaller than expected cake.
