Despite the many failed premos, probably won't be trading again. That way I can't do anymore failed trades :D.
Changed my mind. (Post did not age well at all) Have a plan to get Rocky without sideways trading Crouch.

OUT: Butters & Cousins (sad to let him go probably a bit sooner than I'd like)
IN: Rocky & Stack.

First upgrade of the year!

Butters to stack...pocket the cash for upgrade season starting the week after

I have watched both richmond games and I think stack looks great. He passes the eye test for me even if he didn't score as well this week
Agreed with this, I actually didn't see his game last week (but watched the first half highlights late Thursday night to help convince myself on going early) however watch the entire game yesterday. Thought he looked pretty good, especially in the last term (minus his out on the full) that likely hurt his score significantly.

I feel like with Hore and Stack both on the bubble, the ins are relatively clear for many of us?

Have to take the decent second round rookies when they present in my view.

Feels a touch early on Clark and Butters but without a spike game they'll only make c. $100k more between them.

Likely option this week is
Butters > Stack
Parker > Marshall

fwd line was the weak link this week hopefully Marshall can turn up against Gawn!

Burning trades at the moment (4 before this round) and considering LDU > Marshall and Setterfield > Hore.

Already grabbed stack last round so had the option to upgrade LDU. Bad move or potentially sound?

I want me some Marshall.

Setterfield to Stack gets me there if I trade Moore. Moore hasn’t really impressed me too much, feels like a solid upgrade for just 90k.

I agree on Butters to Stack. Stack is also a rare 102k rookie so he essentially adds $15-20k which makes the early downgrade a bit more worthwhile.

Interesting call on Clark. I was wondering whether Parker to Hore might be the better trade via DPP. Parker has had two surprise 85s and seems to have stalled since. I saw him more as a 40-50 type rookie in the preseason so I wonder if he only has another 50k left in him. I’m scared to trade him though as trading Fritsch early really hurt last year.

I’m more likely just to hold off on that second trade and only get Stack at this stage.

Might actually break my SC record and go the first 5 rounds without trading.

My team is performing awfully but downgrade options are horrible.
Same here.. tempted by some trades but been stung before. Need to be patient and wait for rookies to fatten up I think

Considering Crisp to Hore and using some of that cash for Sheed to a premium mid. Not sure which yet, would have enough cash for anyone.

Problem is I have used 2 trades each week (6 total) so far and I am still not happy with my team, ranked 50K+. Probably should hold off on any more trades, but so far 4/6 trades have improved my team, 1 is too early to call (Kelly :(), and only 1 bad trade (Why did I trade in Parker?) May as well use them I say if you have players not performing and are losing a lot of cash (Crisp), or look like they have peaked (Sheed).

I'll see how I feel about it later in the week I think.

Another big issue is that the highest B/E are still gettable, at least for me, and the rookies haven't fattened enough to go one-up, one-down.

Dunkley, Butters out. Lloyd the Seagull and Stack in. Hope the Lloyd experience is as good as it has looked from the non-owner side!

But is Hore a trap. Was not originally going to play this week but kudos to him for taking the late chance given to him. Just a bit concerned about his JS.

Should I be trading any of Oliver, sheed, Williams?
Feel like sheed had his time and will now go back to 80’s

Trying to bring in Boak this week, Rockliff next week

I hope the Dees persist with him. He was very good on Thurs night and was stiff to get dropped after round 1 I reckon. Hopefully Jetta comes in for J Wagner and when May is fit hopefully he replaces Frost or even O McDonald.
