Don't worry Bermi, it's just something them other non - Westhoff owners will just never understand ;). It's debilitating and distracts from all other rational and uninhibited thoughts :). I too feel your suffering.
What are you planning to do?
Regarding Ken Hinley's comment in the post above "Marshall coming in gives us the flexibility with Westy to either be a forward or more on the wing like he played last year" . Why did he say "to either", why didn't he say "TO BE MORE ON THE WING" that would have been a decider for me :)
I still have one more (sleepless) night before I have to make a decision, where did I put that coin :)

Look sometimes if a certain player is sapping out the enjoyment of the game weekly, it might be better to just trade them. I got rid of Billings at around $420k last year, and although he still averaged 90 odd, I was happy enough to see the back of him!

Hmm interesting stats - perhaps Ruck time was the key factor
That...and I think that the change in their game style (quicker ball movement) and Rokliff being used more as the 'link' player is hurting his output thus far. The other thing which I've observed in the 2 PTA games which I've watched (albeit not in full) is that he's not taking the usual number of intercept marks whilst roaming around the wing/HB. Add all that up and it pretty much sums up his early start to the season. I'm a little sceptical whether that changes much to make him SC relevant this year, even with his dual position status.

Wise words Bomber. If Hoff wasn't my ruck cover, that would be the right choice.

Comes down to Stack vs Hore for me for butters.

Teams going terribly but will keep westhoff and bring in obrien for Parker with westhoff going forward. Means only rozee is the only rookie forward playing.

Toyed with Mumford in... But I think ROB coming in is a must. Build up the bank ready for Oliver or another mid.

Stack and Hore... Liked the look of Stack first game... And liked the look of Hore second game. What position does stack actually play?

Well said THCLT, that's what is leaning me to trade him out, as I can't see where his improvement is going to come from.

@Connoisseur and/or @THCLT

do you have Westhoff's average for last season

with Dixon & Ryder
and with just Dixon

certainly haven't seen Humphrey in D50 this season (so far) , not sure if Ports fast game actually helps them or not , there kicking DE is awful , big issue last week in the final quarter against Richmond was lack of contest in the marking.

Think Kenny will change things up.

Do you need to trade Butters at all?

2018 J Westhoff 22/101.2

With both Dixon & Ryder: 14/97.5
With Dixon only: 6/102.7
With Ryder only: 2/123.0
magic fingers just like that , very interesting to see how much he has dropped when in personnel terms Lycett has replaced Dixon , theoretically though positions and game style has changed.

see if Marshall changes things

Thank You

Could do either of these this week:

1. Butters & Parker to ROB & Marshall
2. Butters & Parker/Setterfield to ROB & Stack

First option leaves me with Drew F6, Pettrucelle F7 and Bines F8 with Setters on mid bench
Second leaves me Setterfield/Parker F7 and Bines F8

Anyone have any thoughts?

I like the first one. Most would be envious of that forward setup and are working towards it as fast as we can.

First would be the exact same for me too except Balta :( at F7 not Petrucelle
Hope Heeney and Drew both lineup this week.

You’d be filthy if Parker was a late out.... but assuming Parker is fine, I think it’s okay.

I think I would personally double downgrade to stack/rob and grab Marshall next week for $430-440k with the benefit of having seen the Gawn game. $25-35k isn’t all that much to pay for a bit more information?
I am a Sydney owner already (y)

I'm looking at a similar trade but will keep Moore. I'll probably trade 2 of Butters/Setters/Parker and bring in ROB and Marshall. This will move Moore to F5 and Drew F6. I'm losing too many points over that F5/6 spot.
I’m surprised you’re into Marshall. He doesnt seem like a pick you’d generally make.

Need help. Which trade is better?

A. Crisp to Lloyd (O’Brien R2)
or
B. Balta/Setterfield to Mummy (O’Brien R3)
