I think you should make that ZClarke to ROB trade. ZClarke most certainly be out next week or whenever JD returns, not much time left for him.
I agree, but really wanted to get Marshall in because of the inconsistency of the rookie FWDs . Might cop a donut if Parker is out, because I think Balta will get dropped, and Setterfield is out . If I have the full compliment then I might go the ROB route.

Really want to make 3 Trades this week (actually looking at my team maybe 30 would be better)

now thinking about Mumford again

English - > Mumford (R2)
Parker/Setterfield/Balta - > ROB (R3) (via Bines) don't like the idea of Balta and Bines at F7 & F8 though, think Parker & Setterfield still could make some $$$
That’s the reason I’m thinking of skipping Mummy and rolling with O’Brien at R2.

Setterfield to ROB is what I'm considering. Two weeks out, and if form continues won't generate that much more cash. I can't see the point in keeping him.

Hore and Stack also interest me, so it would either be J. Clark to Hore, or Scott/Atkins/Butters to Stack.

Can't work out what to do, but the Setterfield > ROB seems straightforward.

Any advice? Have only used one trade so far.

Personally I’ve had Butters to Stack planned all week. The only thing that I think would change that was if I got real confidence in Hore’s JS or my combined trades didn’t work for some reason (I haven’t checked that yet since I decided to get ROB).

Thoughts on the best avenue to R O'Brien.

1. Z Butters via W Setterfield and P Bines but means one of T Atkins/B Scott/M Gibbons will need to be played until Setterfield returns.
2. M Gibbons/B Scott via W Setterfield and P Bines not changing on field structure
3. Z Butters via X Duursma which pushes him to M8 and via C Burgess pushing him to D8 and via P Bines but no fwd cover until Setterfield returns.
4. Other alternative

Greatly appreciate any advice.

Going around in circles on what to do.

Have 350k after trading English to O’Brien already.

Def: Whitfield, Crisp, Andrews, Williams, Duursma, Scrimshaw, (Clark,Hore)
Mid: Neale, Oliver, Macrae, Libba, Cog, B.Smith, Constable,Walsh (Hatley, Scott, Atkins)
Ruc: Gawn,O’Brien (Bines)
Fwd: Danger, Kelly, Dunkley, Rozee, Drew, Parker (Setterfield, Balta)

Options are

1. Crisp to Lloyd (220k left)
or
2. Setterfield/Balta to Mummy (150k left)
or
3. Scott to Stewart (0 left)
or
4. Hold trades
or
5. Something else

Thanks in advance

Trade (Via DPP) Riley O’Brien in for Setterfield, or Balta?
If you have sufficient cover for Setterfield then Balta would be the preferred option and if not then trading Setterfield is fine.

Weighing up long and short term, who is more important to keep: Butters or Setterfield?

I can bring in ROB for Butters swinging Setterfield into mids (leaves me with Bines and Pettrucelle on the fwd bench) Setterfield for looping in the mids.
Or I can bring in ROB for Setterfield (leaving me with the same forward bench) and with Butters.

(Edited after name mix up.)

I'm biased, as I had him in my team, but for me, Crisp had to go. Meant I couldn't do another trade I wanted this week, but he's a massive let down. Lloyd will likely outscore him over the season by 20-30 per week. Sounds a good trade to me. (y)

Parker or Burgess out for ROB?
I'd lean towards Burgess due to his poor scoring in conjunction with the lower possibility of earning sufficient cash in comparison to Parker but it depends upon the value that you place on his dpp and if that will be more beneficial than maintaining Parker.

Stranded in the forward line with Moore ATM but if i keep him ill look to open it back up in the coming weeks. If i go the Burgess route and Parker is a late out ill be eating a donut so im leaning Parker out as it stands but not with any confidence.

Sounds like the same dilemma I'm facing with the inclusion of ROB.
D Moore and C Burgess both stuck forward(y)
W Setterfield on fwd bench(y)
Donut when Bines is switched fwd if a fwd misses(y)

Depends on how risk adverse you are and if you think Parker missing is probable/highly probable. If both continue at this rate they will be slow burns but both only need a 70+ to kick-start the cash generation. Assuming you have a fwd/mid dpp have you entertained the idea of trading Z Butters via W Setterfield and via P Bines to ROB.
