That’s the reason I’m thinking of skipping Mummy and rolling with O’Brien at R2.
English to Mummy this Round was always going to be my get out clause.

Still think Mummy can go 90-100 minimum.

ROB has unexpectedly arrived with the opportunity to make $$$ (and provide cover) so Balta probably needs to go and then I will have to trust Parker as F7 so I think that is what I will do.

Stef Martin -> Mumford, hopefully Mumford can make close to $200k and I’ll trade him to Grundy.

Holding off on the rookie trades, Stack and Hore are very tempting but it’s too soon, all should make a little bit more cashola this week, there’s Ross on the bubble next week and a few debuting this week for the week after that. 27 trades left ??

With Butters in I think I'll not burn the extra trade for Stack (26 trades left) - still have a day to reconsider if Stack's cash gen will be worth burning trade #5 and cashing in Butters a bit early?

Have gone with Setterfield > ROB via Bines and now have Bines in a sexy three way VC / FWD rookie loop at F6 (Drew, Parker), so I'll have to make sure I don't screw that up.

After all the "panic" over the past few days it looks like I'll get to field a full 22 this week after all - at least it got me to shift Moore FWD for a while where I'm looking skinnier than in DEF (thanks primarily to Dunkley, but the solid production from the usual on-field DEF rookies have payed their part as well).

Sounds like the same dilemma I'm facing with the inclusion of ROB.
D Moore and C Burgess both stuck forward(y)
W Setterfield on fwd bench(y)
Donut when Bines is switched fwd if a fwd misses(y)

Depends on how risk adverse you are and if you think Parker missing is probable/highly probable. If both continue at this rate they will be slow burns but both only need a 70+ to kick-start the cash generation. Assuming you have a fwd/mid dpp have you entertained the idea of trading Z Butters via W Setterfield and via P Bines to ROB.
Yeah thats the other way to go but i think Butters still has plenty of $$ to milk whereas i think Parker is close and Burgess is certainly done about as much as I think they will. It is a good opportunity to open up the f/m link though, plenty t ponder, thanks for the input.

Thoughts on the best avenue to R O'Brien.

1. Z Butters via W Setterfield and P Bines but means one of T Atkins/B Scott/M Gibbons will need to be played until Setterfield returns.
2. M Gibbons/B Scott via W Setterfield and P Bines not changing on field structure
3. Z Butters via X Duursma which pushes him to M8 and via C Burgess pushing him to D8 and via P Bines but no fwd cover until Setterfield returns.
4. Other alternative

Greatly appreciate any advice.
That's quite tough. If it helps I can tell you I'm 90% sure I'm getting rid of Setters this week for ROB. I'm not sold on the possibility he's a straight in when he comes out of suspension and he doesn't score well anyway. In other words you may be banking on Setters providing cover when he returns but 2 weeks is a long time for a marginal player on a bottom-feeding team. Having said all that I don't own Butters but if I did I would probably look to move him on over Setters given Butters is much closer to his price peak. In other words I think trading out Butters is a very acceptable route.

Note I do have Miers and I view him as good cover/probably starter over someone like a Parker.

Gibbons is a terrible scorer so I can understand the appeal of getting rid of but swapping him for ROB or Stack is just too sideways given Gibbons should (slowly) rise in price. Scott I would definitely keep.

Not sure if this helps any, but good luck with the direction you choose to take.

Edit: BTW, nice team. (y)

Setterfield or Balta out ?
Balta is in the team for now, but that's no guarantee he'll be there next week - Balta seems to be more of a list clogger than Setterfield, but he theoretically has two weeks to post a big score to kick-start his cash generation.

I'd say trade Balta, but only just.

Thanks. As I've mentioned previously annoyed with Setterfield's suspension (not in regards to the act but the timing due to the arrival of ROB on the bubble and Sauce injured) which has complicated the situation. Setterfield was locked in last season before his season ending injury and the same applied for this season which is why I'm hesitant in getting rid of him so early as I'd prefer him over the likes of C Burgess/M Parker/M Gibbons/etc.

As you mentioned above whilst M Gibbons and B Scott are playing it isn't worth the switch and trading out another fwd rookie bar Setterfield means no cover for a fortnight. With Z Butters short term cash generation affected by the score in the 20's in conjunction with making 100,000+ on the trade to R O'Brien are the main attractions but it means I'll have to find another avenue to J Hately when he is on the bubble as well as playing one of B Scott/T Atkins/ M Gibbons for a fortnight but Setterfield's absence allows them to be looped which is a positive.

Also thanks for the sentiment regarding my team. Very happy with the structure and selections and in hindsight should've started B Smith and P Cripps over T Greene and C Oliver.

Think ROB will be a good cash cow, but started with Grundy Gawn and Z. Clarke who is also playing and on the bubble. Madness to downgrade Max?
