Looking at Ridley/Duursma to Oliver/Baker for a quick upgrade.... not too happy about having to make these trades before the Thursday teams drop!
Oliver still dropping in value, can you wait or just want to get him in? Has Richmond and Hawthorn next.

Darling owner..20k in the bank not sure what to do, got all the rookies and no obvious rookie to trade out. Could Greene be an option if named nxt week or better to just keep now? Thoughts

Setterfield to Hately. Can play.
Is Hately role secure with Ward's unfortunate injury? Feels like it is, just wondering if there is one any senior players missing from the side who could easily replace him (none come to mind).

The Ward injury seems to have secured his spot, at least for now. Will be a very popular trade next week.

300k burning a hole in my back pocket, and it’s time to grab a def premium.

Hurn ~560k pricy, but just keeps knocking out big scores. Seems to be really benefiting from the new kickout rule. I’m still wary of overpaying though as I recall buying him last year only to see him knock out a 60.

Laird/Sicily ~530k Nice price for what these two are capable of. Suspension threat is always there with Sicily but it’s difficult to justify buying somewhat unproven Stewart types when these two are available for essentially the same price.

Stewart ~530k Looks incredible, getting very high possession counts and taking all kickout duties but will this continue once Touhy returns? Tricky to pay the price without knowing. Touhy likely back next week makes him a very tricky buy IMO.

Lloyd ~610k Would likely need another downgrade to get there but he’s probably worth it. Will have a high BE next week though so might be best giving the cows another week before nabbing a sub 600k Lloyd with a bit of luck.

I just want to get him in. If he can bash out a good score vs richmond, he wont fall much under $550k. Getting a rookie off the field could add +50 pts.

Will weigh up the risk of surprise outs but not much time to weigh it up!

Brayshaw is really testing my patience. Don’t think he’ll be a 110+ mid.

Thinking about trading him, what are other owners doing?
Am also in the same boat, thinking of maybe Brayshaw > Merrett, Fyfe or Bont cost about $60,000 or go down to Rockliff and make about $70k. My head says go a premium. But I also need to get some rookies off the field, so maybe Gus might get one more week.

Makes total sense for your team bomber. I recall from the PL thread that you are a bit less exposed up fwd. I am fielding Parker with setterfield/BINES on the bench. If like to bring in baker for clark/duursma and switch setters to the mid. It will just be a matter of what $$ i have left to get Parker up to someone i want. If not i may hold fire on upgrade season for a week. Shame baker is 162k and hately 148k

Brayshaw to Rocky is the one I’m looking very closely at. Take out the injury affected game and Rocky is averaging 121..

This is something that I think has been a tad underestimated ... although it did make me think:

I wonder if there’s ever been a player about whom it has more often been said “Take out the injury affected game ...” :p

I have him across all formats, for what it’s worth.

Richmond fans, what does Baker’s JS look like? A forward rookie with an average of 89 looks extremely enticing..
