If I was to head down this path, I would look at more POD players who're currently performing. Both Cogs (20%) & Laird (35%) have been underwhelming so far, so you're hoping for a bounce back in form.
Bont (7%), Zerrett (4%), Hurn (9%) and Stewart (4%) for examples are the 'form' players who are all currently at less than 10% ownership. They would the typical player's traits I would look for if planning such a move.

Probably can't make enough cash from Neale down to Bont but appreciate the suggestion (got Zerret this week). Stewart and Hurn are definitely worth a look but might be paying overs, where as I'm pretty happy Laird will be around 100 from here. Will analyse a bit further - maybe Tim Kelly comes in instead for a good price.
My POD choices so far have all been negative: Dunkley, Darling, Andrews, Crisp (not to bad after a good score this week). So I'm almost better sticking with 'safe' picks haha!

So I think he's over-priced. In today's midfield terms he's basically a midget which I'm not overly a fan of in terms of SC midfield scoring. He scored well when he wasn't the "man" at Freo and has done well early this season but I think we've seen the Lions exposed quite a bit in recent weeks. I feel in future matchups opposition coaches will really key in on him to shut the Lions down. He's also at the very top of his price cycle.
I picked him originally because I thought he was a POD.
I traded out Gawn this week but still want to have ancillary exposure to his dominance via Oliver who is plummeting into "buy" territory. A guy like Oliver is probably someone I prefer over the long term because he's much more in line with my view of "dominant" SC scoring mids (Cripps, Danger, Fyfe etc) ie he's a giant comparatively.
Also I want as much exposure to GWS as I can, after watching this early part of the season for me they're the creme de la creme team of the comp, even accounting for their injury affected pummeling at the hands of the Weagles. So this will help me fund some of the GWS buys I want to make over coming rounds.
