Without seeing your team would rather trade some other rookies than those 2. Both have potential for big spike games.
Problem is he might not get the cash to be able to do these upgrades with other rookies. It's an aggressive trading strategy. Ultimately I think the Port boys still have a few rounds left in them before they should be considered trade out candidates, Drew the most longevity.

Darling, Wallis, Andrews, Brayshaw, etc.
No idea where to even start with trades.
Assuming we have to either keep Darling or downgrade to rookie

Anyone looking at moving Moore on? He's been ok but has only topped 80 once out of 5 games so hasn't really had that spike game to get his price moving.

Breakeven of 50 and a score of 81 would see his price increase by 13k.

I think Moore is the type that could dominate an Anzac day game so I am inclined to hold for at least 1 more week.
Id consider moving him on in R7 if he doesn't go 90 plus next week if i could get him to sic dog.

if i didn't have so many other more pressing disappointing score/cash gen issues i think i would be thinking yep time to move on him, as it is he's one of my better "speculative" picks in that his avg score is still under his breakeven : ]

definitely he has looked better as a footballer than as a SC scorer.
Yeah he doesn't seem to be getting the reward and hasn't spiked yet like i was expecting. Trading him would help me add some pts on field to my F4-6 but probably not as many as i would ordinarily want come to think of it.

Looked at it but was about 10k short of preferred upgrade..even if he goes @75 I’ll take it while I get rid of my other trash.
Funny you say that because i fall just short of anyone worthwhile and would need to punt on a Westhoff type, which makes trading Moore a little illogical seeing he's probably averaging more in recent weeks lol

With Milera's injury, I need to keep him in order to minimise exposing the likes of Clark/Burgess/Balta on-field.

If you're in a position to upgrade him, then the window is probably open now to execute on that move.
Yeah it would be an upgrade on paper but as mentioned above, it would require me to take a bit of a punt...which i think will be inevitable with the state of my team's cash gen anyway tbh.

Tempted, but I think his D/F status will be very useful in enabling us to trade out the right fattened rookie for the best bubble rookie / upgrade target across the lines.
That's a good point. I haven't really had a chance to utilise it as yet but that DPP should come in handy at some stage.

Thx guys, back to the drawing board! I'm trying to avoid any combination of trades that includes trading Gawndy haha

I'm not so sure. He's playing the form team and soon to be flag faves, i think he'll struggle to get his hands on the pill tbh :p

How many trades used do you think is too many to sideways "Premiums"?

I've used 6 before this round but need to do something with Robbie Gray. Thinking Daniel or Telly but not sure if I should just stick fat considering I've used a few trades already

Lots of options.

1.Darling > Telly
2.Andrews > Crisp/Stewart
3. Parker > Daniels

All have pros and cons. Andrews has scored well but need to find out how long he’s out for.

Darling. Has lost a heap, but think maybe keep till the byes hoping for a 100+ game or two in there. Or just keep as a F6-F7 and wear it.

Not really any other rookies want to chop yet. Hately liking in next week

Rozee BE 75, highest of my rookies by a bit.

Butters occupies M8 with Scott/Atkins/Gibbons on bench of which none get to Rocky. Scott not worth trading and other two got there $ going.

Have Collins/Scrimshaw/Wilkie/Hore/Duursma all with lower BE’s and ceiling occupying D3-D8, couldn’t afford Hurn/Sicily so will wait.

Walsh, Constable, Drew & Moore occupy my other on-field rookie positions.

mate i hear you. gray is killing us! as to your question, a trade is a trade in my book, stuff how many i've made before it. i try to conserve them as much as i can but injury and role change are legit reasons to use one imho.

now for the musings- from what ppl are saying, gray is not getting much mid time and to top it off he's missing easy shots... copped a shoulder knock in round 2 or 3... can actually score well close to goal but hasn't been thus far...i'm pretty torn about what to do with him, i can't afford anyone in good form anyway right now... he IS robbie gray and might pull a 120 out of the hat any game now...

good luck with your decisions.

I'm also a gray owner, I've just decided to hold for now and focus on getting rookies off the field. He'll possibly fall to low $400ks and if I didn't have him, I"d probably look to trade him in at that point.

I saw this coming though a few weeks ago. He looks horribly out of form. I'm not sure it's because of a shoulder injury. He's fumbling a lot this year.

Baker feels like an opportunity to make money out of Parker if nothing else. Ross, hmm. Can upgrade Scott or Clark but I want premos.

Looking at my first genuine upgrade... only catch is I'll have used my two trades before the Thursday teams hit!

Collins/Clark to Oliver/Baker ($4k short doing Ridley to Oliver!)

wow man, nice team. that projected is massive!
well, compared to mine anyway : ]
Haha I don’t take much notice of that, Libba’s projected is 140 whilst Steele’s is 75 which doesn’t make much sense.

My team has a fair few issues unfortunately, at least looks a bit nicer without Darling now.

Within games he keeps looking like he's going to have a big one, then seems to just go missing for a bit, in the running for tease of the year!

i'm thinking of swapping bines to fwd and getting ROB in for cagner via setterfield despite missing his big one. he should still make me 140-150k by the bye which sh1t$ on a lot of my rookies lol. pencilling in baker in for clark via moore dpp, but heavily dependent on team announcements. that will net me +100k in the kitty which isn't much but potentially 2 cows that are better than what i have generally chosen this year. of course, like everyone else i will be kind of spewing my 2 trades will be done on wednesday night
