must have been something you both ate
I had a similar reaction to seeing my rank after round 2... started with a good team (at least I thought it was) and was ranked 90k.. slowly clawing my way back.. up to 50k now haha!

But can’t for the life of me work out how I’m so far behind with the team I have.. guess we just gotta trade well mate!

Good work , I hope I can follow your lead.

I picked too many POD's that haven't worked out

Crisp , Heater , Kennedy
Pendles
English
Gray , Darling

can't keep sideways them otherwise I will never upgrade my rookies

thought I had the right rookies apart from Wilkie , Miers , Petrucelle so will just trade my way to something respectable

So this week I'm gonna trade out Moore for Lloyd

However, should I trade out Parker for Baker (risk of role change as a result of Cotch)
or
Trade Scott to Ross?

I could be wrong but I think it’s more likely that Cotchin either replaces Ross or pushes Ross to a less lucrative role if he manages to stay in the same team as Cotchin.

I don’t think Cotchin coming back will have an impact on Baker as he is in the team at the moment along with Bolton who are replacing Butler and Weller and at this stage, doing a much better job.

Tigers fans would probably know more..

Was planning to just hold Darling and upgrade around him but with Greene getting the all clear to play this week could this be a viable option? Can anyone see Greene being a keeper if his body holds up? Definitely has the potential just need someone to convince me
edit; its either get greene or hold darling as dont wanna use two trades

Is it worth grabbing Hore and/or Stack now or time has gone?!
Stack I’m less worried about but Hore seems to be pretty set down there?!

Currently thinking Sheed & Cousins to Lloyd & Hately vis Duuuuuuursma
Would prefer to get rid of Parker but couldn’t get Lloyd then

How many trades used do you think is too many to sideways "Premiums"?

I've used 6 before this round but need to do something with Robbie Gray. Thinking Daniel or Telly but not sure if I should just stick fat considering I've used a few trades already
Hi Bloke. Count up how many premiums you still need to complete your team of 18 and double it. That is a quick estimation of the number of trades you will still need to upgrade your rookies/mediums. So if you have used 6 trades and still need 10 to complete your upgrades then you have ‘used’ 16 of your trades. Need to then allow for injuries, bye round etc with the rest of your trades. Then it’s a matter of how much risk you are willing to take, i.e do you take the risk to you use your trades early to improve your team now or conserve them for a run home in the second half. Good luck.

i avoid greene like the plague. he misses too many games through injury and suspension.

seems a bit like trading one problem for another to me.

I’m thinking about getting Hore. Will still make good cash in next two weeks at least unless his scoring completely tanks. Very annoyed i trading him for Parker in Rd 3.

I traded him for Miers at the same time. I feel your pain!

My reactionary planned R6 trades of Collins/Parker to Hately/Tim Kelly seem like a good team improvement to me however there is really no need to do it this week particularly with Kelly a chance to cop a heavy tag. I could simply go the same trades but change up Daniel for Kelly but at the moment I'm thinking something slightly more outlandish even though it potentially slows my upgrades by a week.

Goldy (seems to have lost his ceiling) to Baker via Bines bringing ROB on field and giving me 500k in the bank. I think I will want Grundy at some point anyway and may plan to hold ROB to my last rookie upgrade to Grundy around their byes. Sauce may not be out that long but honestly if ROB keeps building the way he is he could keep him out. I will then wait on Baker's score on wed night. If it is no good I will go Parker to Daniel or even Boak. If it looks OK I will bring in a 6th premo mid of my choosing - Rocky, Zerrett, Josh Kelly, Oliver and Neale are all tempting. Tim Kelly and Hately can then come in next week

Looking at my trades this week, and feeling a bit confused.

The one that stands out to me is Parker to Daniel, but at the same time, that eats up all my 300k, and I can't help but feel that isn't utilising my resources effectively.

I'm currently ranked 26k, trending upwards but looking to be aggressive.

Wish some of my cash cows were further along!

Fully agree. He's got a track record for doing this to SC'ers over the years. I love him as a player and keep getting sucked into picking him as he always seems to come cheap; but that's for a reason. For mine he's the #1 ranked burn man in the league.

Down to 2 options but I would greatly appreciate any thoughts on trade options.
A. Out: J Darling, In: T Kelly
Also started Hore and traded him for J Scrimshaw in RD3 but could potentially bring Hore back for S Collins and then next week potentially J Clark to J Hately which could potentially allow R Gray to come in for M Parker in the next fortnight.

B. Out: S Collins, In: M Hore
Then in RD7 Out: J Clark, M Parker, In: J Hately and T Kelly but involves keeping J Darling but saves 1 trade in comparison to the above proposal.

Would you consider Baker as a downgrade option this week for either Parker or Darling?
