Considering I stuffed my loophole last night for Gawn, thinking I'll run with Cripps over Grundy for a couple of reasons. Cripps playing Sunday gives me time to pray for the next few days that team selections and late withdrawals are kind in some faint hope to loop Ross with a non-playing Atkins/Constable/Butters and grab Gawns score.

The other looking at @Connoisseur earlier posts is that Hawks look to give up more 120+ scores than Essendon and Is there a decent match up to stop Cripps given size & power?

Hoping Grundy does go big but Bellchambers is no slouch in the ruck and doesn't look like he's given up any big scores even in big losses like round 1 with Gawn going around 120 the highest.

I don't think I can go with Grundy on Anzac day. Win or lose, as an Essendon supporter, it will undermine the experience of the day.

So I think I'll go with a POD in Heeney VC into C Cripps, Though the Blues spread it around a bit last week, the Hawks will provide a bit more opposition than the Dogs did.

Cripps actually scored around 170 in New Zealand around this time of year when he was a rookie.
If he scores like that again with me already claiming Gawn score, will just have to wear it and enjoy as a Blues fan.

Remember that game well - particularly as I had him on-field.

Didn't actually see a minute of it :p

I had him on field and had a bit of a chuckle at how many traded him out when
Carlton left him out of game in Perth due to stiff back from long flight over only a week or so before this.
Kaka was saying the other day he was actually in New Zealand watching the game in person.
Was his true break out game and crazy to see a rookie score so high but gave us all a glimpse into what he could become.
I remember the year before the idiot Malthouse was trying to play him purely as a forward. Think he broke his leg the same game Juddy did a bad hammy.

Really want to captain Neale, but does anyone else think GC might put someone on him? Touk Miller could probably do the same role as Treloar...

Miller usually goes to Zorko in the Q Clash I believe, they exchanged banter through the media about it this week, however who knows, now Neale is could all change. FWIW I'm a Neale owner so would happily see him Miller go to Zorko.
