I reckon hoping Worpel goes 100 from here on is being a tad optimistic. I probably prefer Connoisseur's option above.

Having said that Williams is a real tough one: given your overall position I would be prone to trade him to keep on pace. Gonna suck though if he's back in a week and crushing it as he has been this season.
Yeah just was thinking that, probably going to do the option above, Moore and Hayes to Lloyd and Parker

With Collins -> Lloyd being the obvious in for this week I'm struggling with who the one-down should be (and who for)?

Team is below - I guess the obvious target is Young but not sure how to get there:

Drew and Ross are the obvious outs, even if Ross has a lot of mooing ahead of him if he gets back into the team post-injury. You can flick Answerth into the mids via trading in Hinge trading out Drew/Ross and upgrade the leftover player to help cover some of your missing starters.
Thank you for your ideas. Hopefully I can trade in someone like a whitfield

Got no issues with defense this week with all 8 selected. Gonna leave Clark and Answerth on my bench though. Duursma survives another week as I need to upgrade other parts of my team. Just gonna back him and Scrimshaw to have good games!

Constable out, Drew out, will only have 665k to spend on two replacements. Probably will paint the fence.
Apart from Hately, what are some other good rookie forward/mid candidates for this week?
For the 2nd trade I'm looking at bringing in Dusty/Heeney/Dunkley....not particularly in any order...anyone else got any other suggestions?! A POD would be lovely

Thanks!

After weighing up my options I'm probably going early on Young (117k StK FWD) this week as I want to have the ability to go to Fort next week via ROB while upgrading as well. So there's him. On paper Young has a great matchup vs the Blues and he was very solid for 3 quarters last round so I think he's every chance to hold his spot for a few rounds at least.

Hately, even if named, has fairly bad JS; on the plus side though he will make significant cash quickly given his form and the fact he's in that gun team. I just think the former JS issues outweigh his scoring upside at this stage.

Are many people cashing in O'Brien this round? Some poor performing rookies have left me a bit cash strapped and cant upgrade without cashing in O'Brien

Gibbons - > Young via DPP
Duursma -> Weller

and what ever happens happens

EDIT

can actually go Moore -> Stewart

O’Brien vs Vardy solo rucking is pretty appealing tbh.

He’s my R2 so different convo anyway, if he’s just on your bench it doesn’t matter as much because he’s probably going to stabilise cash wise very soon.

Looking at the JS of a number of rookies and how close we are to byes I’m really loathe to trade playing rookies even if they have maxed out. Wondering whether I might be better holding guys like Duursma, Scrimshaw, Hore, Gibbons, Baker, Walsh and so on. Means I’ll need to let Hurn slide until after the bye which works out better for my MBR structure.

Tough year for cash generation

I was thinking of cashing him in but Constable and Drew have been dropped so for me he now survives another week in my team. Also he's facing WCE this week and we have pretty mediocre rucks (at best) with Nic Nat being out. Can't see him dropping too much in $$$ to be honest. I reckon he'll get a score around 80-85ish pretty easily

Would definitely do that if I was you. Playing rookies are gold through the byes.

JS > Scoring for rookies coming in now.

That’s why Young > Wills this week imo.

Yeah he is on my bench and I'm not sure I can get any defender upgrades in this round like I'd hoped.

Can get Boak in for O'Brien

Williams to whitfield
ROB to either neale or macrae.

Who would you prefer? Macrae saves me a bit of coin, neale with the better average.

Trading Moore and Hayes
To Lloyd and young
Leaves me with a team of:

Hurn, Whitfield, Lloyd , hore, duursma, Lockhart (Williams , butts)
Macrae, Oliver, Fyfe, Kelly, Cripps, Rockliff, Walsh, stack (Scott, answerth , stocker)
Gawn, Grundy (bines)
Danger, Kelly, Walters, Boak, Heeney, balta (young, setterfield)

Good enough to keep rank 14 you think?

Had initially planned to bring Macrae in but I don't think I can execute it anymore. Below are a couple of options and I would greatly appreciate advice or suggestions on the preferred option (currently leaning towards option 2). Also due to other commitments I'll likely have to make trades before teams are finalised tomorrow afternoon/evening for the Sunday matches.

1. Out: C Constable, D Moore, In: J Macrae, N Balta/R Young
15,000 or 151,200 left
Burgess filling in for Williams, Balta/Young replacing D Moore as F5/F6 but risking a donut if Setterfield and Danger both miss.

2. Out: ROB, D Moore, In: R Young (via Bines), J Lloyd (via C Burgess)
234,700 left.
Burgess replaces D Moore at F5/F6, ROB cashed out, Z Williams pushed to the bench with Duursma as his replacement, Atkins/Stocker if Constable misses, Setterfield/Young filling in for Danger, sufficient cash to upgrade Hayes/Constable to P Cripps/J Macrae next week via a downgrade.

Callum Coleman-Jones (R14 bye player base priced rookie (rare as balta tonnes)) assuming this is a one week special for Soldo?

I'm in a spot of bother. Any other R14 forwards rookie options?

Failing that I'm considering Josh Begley (Ess), $160k, BE12 or Young BE-68 (stk) or the rest of the R14 bye players, all around that $200k mark... with BE's listed below.
Larkey -8
Corbett 2
burgess 47
Lukosius 50
King 76

So who's got the best JS out of the R14 players?

Wouldn't think bringing in Balta at 250k would be a wise move. I'd be happy with a 70 from him and all I'd expect from him... Even that is a bit much to be honest. Spending 250k on and iffy 70 with possibly less than 100k upgrade left (be lucky to get to 350k in my opinion) is not worth it.

Thoughts on fallen 2017 premium Brandon Ellis? 4 of his 8 games have been 100+ and his down of 50 game... All the tigers had a down game there.

Seems to have a stable spot in the team again. Any thoughts? Any tigers supporters can help me out with some thoughts on how his going this season?
