Hopefully a few of them. I reckon some of the clubs will be drafting them with the view of playing them straight away to fill a need for the team due to injuries to key personnel.
A Richmond defender surely pops up, might not quite work for bye round trades though.... hopefully they are a def/fwd in SC :p

Doggies tall forward would be handy too as a bye round downgrade

I'll stick my neck out and say there's no chance of Burton returning this week - hammy's just don't come up that quickly without putting the player at significant risk of doing another (worse) one.

It'll be one of those usual Hinkley fluff pieces - ie. "he probably could have played this week but we decided to err on the side of caution".

Naish!!!

Probably not the sort of "defender" you had in mind but looks like he is ready to explode in his second year - just needs the opportunity.

Keeping my eye on Jez McLennan (GCS), although his chances of a debut have been hurt by Hanley staying healthy and playing decent footy, as well as Weller doing well (sorry it just came out that way) in his new role.

Hoping we might see Quaynor (Coll) pop up as well this week with Langdon's injury maybe keeping him out for 3-4 weeks at a minimum if it's a minor meniscus issue - shame he had a bit of a down game at VFL level over the weekend after looking good prior to that.

I've heard from a good source I trust that Essendon are strongly considering drafting a ruckman; since young Draper has a year long injury, Bellchambers has a few niggles, and then just Clarke as the only other real option.

31 disposals, 17 handball receives, seven inside-50s & four rebound-50s

“Continues his good form throughout the VFL season so far with another 31 disposals. We’re loving his ability to stay in the contest as well. He had another fantastic game and it was great to see him in form.”

Who to field at F6 this week?

Setterfield v R.Young?

So much carnage has already left me Baker and Balta on field ah.
Yep no looping possible there - will check the fixture properly before posting next time.

I think you have to play Young against Carlton after what he (and they) showed last week.

I now have a midfield rookie bench of Wills, Scott, Rowbottom. I also have Bines up forward the byes are going to ruin me.

None of the rookie options in the last 3-4 weeks have been good, it's going to get ugly.
Scott st least is starting to ping again on the radar. North at 2-7 is a only couple of losses away from playing the kids I reckon so the wheel could turn for him before too long.
