Just a friendly reminder above regarding the scheduling of teams for the upcoming BYE rounds with the fixture for the first of three instalments below:

How is your team situated for the upcoming MBRs...?

I've used my team as an example heading into the round, taking into account ALL players who played the previous round and not including any injury/suspension which may arise during the week. Note that I can use DPP to switch a couple of my FWD players into the MID to maximise my on-field scoring.

My team is looking very shaky this week and could potentially be enjoying a donut or two.

Hurn, Lloyd, Whitfield, Williams, Hore, Answerth (Burgess)
Neale, Oliver, Cripps, Danger, Baker
Grundy, Gawn
Cameron, Heeney, Moore, Baker, Balta, Larkey

EDIT: no rocky

20 players available this week. Sloane will be out so I'm down to 19. Really need all of Williams, Crouch and Hore to get up.

Next week will be the tricky one. 20 available players again, but Sloane and Young will probably both be out. Can't afford any other problems (like Rockliff or Crouch) or I'll be taking 0s. Round 15 will be easy - should have 21 at worst that week, assuming no one else gets hurt before then.

Sucks when you plan your byes out perfectly but then you get unexpected injuries to premium players that just ruin everything. Sloane, Crouch, Rockliff, Williams, Hore [and maybe Whitfield] all under injury clouds heading in to the most important period of the year.

If all goes to plan then i’ll have 20 playing this week. If Bailey Scott makes a very unlikely return then i’ll have 21.

If all of Hurn, Whitfield and Williams play then i’ll have 15 keepers playing.

Before Trades
Whitfield, Smith, Answerth, Burgess, Williams, Hore
Neale, Jelly, Cripps, Oliver, Brouch, Walsh, Stack, Baker
Grundy, Gawn
Telly, Danger, Cameron, Larkey

Will have 20 playing if Williams & Hore come back in and if Burgess is not dropped.

(13 keepers + 7 rookies with 2 scores to drop out)

Before trades:
Def: J Lloyd, L Whitfield, Z Williams, R Laird, B Smith, M Hore, (N Answerth)
Mid: J Kelly, L Neale, R Sloane, C Oliver, S Walsh, T Atkins, L Stocker, O Baker
Ruck: B Grundy, T Goldstein
Fwd: T Kelly, P Dangerfield, I Heeney, L Baker, W Setterfield, C Burgess

Doubts surrounding R Sloane, Z Williams and L Whitfield so the numbers available will likely drop from 23 to around 20.

Unlikely to make trades that affect who I put on field so this’ll likely be the players I field:

Hurn, Whitfield, Lloyd, Hore, B.Smith, J.Clark
Cripps, Neale, Cunnington, Walsh, Oliver, Stack
Gawn, Grundy
Kelly, Dangerfield, Hawkins, Heeney, Bolton, Setterfield

A few in doubt in the defensive line but most have that same issue. Have got Answerth in reserve just in case. Should field 17 at the very worst should Setterfield get dropped and injuries keep blokes out.

A few weeks ago this was by far my best bye rounds, but with a few concerns over selections will be a tight one:

D: Whitfield, Stewart, Williams, Smith, Hore
M: Sloane, Oliver, Cripps, Coniglio, Stack, Answerth, Stocker
R: Grundy, Goldstein
F: Kelly, Danger, Heeney, Baker, Balta, Corbett

Could have 20 (13 keepers) or 16 (10 keepers)

Hopefully will get some early mail on Sloane, if he misses more than 1 week I'll trade him for Pendlebury which will help me with my round 14 bye which will be tight
