Stack, Smith & Miers the 3 big ones I missed. Really should have gone Stack.
I had Hore & Balta and traded them both early
Discounted Rozee because of starting price, didn't really look at Wilkie or Smith, missed starting Atkins & Miers , and passed on Baker and Stack.

so so happy (not) that I still have Burgess (losing $$$), Setterfield & Scott + Bines means 4 of my bench is not doing much at all for 11 weeks

Need the right rookies from the start and when they present to make the $$$

The rookie gold mine after 11 Rounds

Hore + 279,200
Duursma * + 231,300
Rozee * + 223,100
Wilkie + 190,500
Lockhart * + 157,100
Scrimshaw + 155,100

(@Goodie's Guns how many of them did you start in your Moore rookie defence ?)
Started 4 of those 6. So it was Moore + Collins, Hore, Duursma, Clark, Scrimshaw, Wilkie, Burgess.

Still have Hore, Duursma, Clark, Burgess + 4 premiums now.

Missed Miers and Rozee as my biggest rookie mistakes, seriously considered Miers on his bubble also but didn't pull the trigger.
Thought Ross was going to be a mistake in passing up, but unfortunately injury struck him so he didn't hurt me too much at all in the end.

probably, even Bolton. Depends what impact he has.
if he shows anything like his form at VFL level then he'll be sticking around for a while I suspect.

Been almost a year long build up to his first game after talking about him plenty last year, so hopefully he jumps at the opportunity - as opposed to the deer-in-the-headlights thing you sometimes see happen with kids who have been close for an extended period without quite managing to get the nod...

Tigers have been good with giving the kids games... Might take a punt on him instead of Gardner.

Kyle Dunkley ($102,400 MID) is a sneaky chance for a debut after the Dees bye. He had 21 disposals and kicked 3 goals on the weekend and was mentioned on the Dees website that he was in the frame for selection.

Dunkley for Spargo or Garlett sounds ideal to me.

SUNS MID-SEASON DRAFTEE IMPRESSING

Mid-season rookie Mitch Riordan made an instant impression in his first NEAFL outing for Gold Coast on Saturday. Riordan laid 12 tackles during a 15-point win over Southport in a performance which drew praise from Suns coach Nick Malceski. “To do that, especially against men, was terrific. It was the first time he had played against men,” Malceski told the Gold Coast Bulletin. “It was a good experience for him and he didn’t shy away from the contest which I love as a coach.” Riordan also had 17 disposals and four clearances, racking up 90 ranking points.

Hardly a convincing statement!
