Clark > Naish
Heeney > Boak
Answerth > Fyfe

Could be a season defining week for me this one. Neglected upgrading my defence in favour of grabbing Fyfe. Heeney I've decided isn't going to be part of my final team so I'm cutting him loose. Hoping he doesn't burn me in the next few weeks.
Wouldn't be trading Heeney.

Now confirmed (9 trades left)
Out: L Baker, N Answerth, T Atkins
In: C Daniel, R Gray, D Clarke

17 playing this round with X Duursma, D Clarke, R Gardner and W Setterfield the only rookies.
Can get 18 by trading Burgess to Naish but after all my trades only pocketing between the 80,000 to 130,000 range I'll keep him a while longer and will likely try to upgrade him to a F7 utilising Duursnma to Naish/Logue money in RD15.

Just don't trust Naish. It's decision time... is anyone dead sure he will stay in the side? ?

Screw it - I've had it with being indecisive.

Moore -> Ryan
Answerth -> Naish
Young -> Gardner

Not waiting until Sunday arvo to get confirmation that Hately wont get a game again (if he gets held over from the NEAFL game on Saturday morning).

For better or for worse all three trades are locked in - $619.5k and 13 trades left in the kitty. 18 on field + Burgess emergency. 15 on field before selection and trades next week - will go two up and one down most likely. What will be will be.

Need to get 2 rooks from the lot below, one this week and the other next week.

Clarke
Bewley
Gardner

Thinking Clarke this week and Gardner next, giving Bewley a miss?

Exactly what I'm weighing up, just with the first two...

Actually like Bewley for scoring, might be wet on saturday in perth too. But, with Cerra sick, I have no confidence he'll hold his spot. That being said, is my confidence in Woosha picking Clarke worth the 40k odd extra, in a time where upgrades are all that really matters?

Apologies for the two half screenshots.

I have a couple of options but I don't feel inspired about any trades this week.

Before trading I have 16 trades and 74.7k in the bank.

Option A:

Atkins 》 Clarke
Answerth 》 Bewley
Witherden 》 Sicily/Blakely

Pocket 158.2k/194.1k respectively.

Option B:

Atkins 》 Bewley
Witherden 》 Blakely
Answerth 》 Gray

Leaves bugger all in the tank.

Open to any other suggestions. I know I probably don't have to use up my three this week but hard trading through the byes has always been my style.

I am expecting to grab the same two, but in the opposite order. Gardner is very cheap and DPP, so if he ends up a donut it’s not quite so bad. Admittedly it’s normally somewhat easier to carry a donut on your mid bench if you have to (3 bench spots vs 2 - although Gardner could sit in any of 4 bench spots because of DPP).

Gardner also seems to have somewhat better JS (but weaker scoring?) which I see as key for rookies at this time of year ... most of these guys will not be traded back out, they’re there to cover premium injuries in my view.

Good idea about his DPP, gives a bit of flexibility with Burgess lolz!
Has the added bonus of playing against my mob this week too so maybe he can do well?

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere...but what's the consensus on Boak? Will his form continue for the second half of the year? Or are we going to see a pull back?
