Out: Stack, Rocky & Answerth.
In: Bewley, Fyfe & Boak.

It was either gonna be Smith or Rocky out so I'm not fussed. Keeping Smith completes my backline next week and actually gives me extra cash to finish my team earlier with less trades used albeit a weird complete team with Worpel as M8 for a few weeks. Should have 18 playing this week.

2 trades confirmed of Out: T Atkins, N Answerth, In: R Gray, D Clarke. Greatly appreciate thoughts on the last trade with 17 currently playing.

1. Out: C Burgess, In: P Naish
Gets 18 on the field and increasing remaining salary to 230,000 allowing L Baker to any fwd next round.

2. Out: L Baker, In: C Daniel/J Sicily (via R Gardner)
17 this week but an extra premium and allows Duursma to be traded to Naish in RD15 freeing up approximately 250,000 to upgrade 1 of B Smith/M Hore to J Sicily/S Hurn.

Out: Answerth & Clark
In: Boak & Naish

Gives me 17 green lights, hoping for a Hately in rather than a point grab extra trade. Stick with the plan of trying to bring in Ryan/Hurn, Fyfe/Neale and Grundy over the next couple of weeks.

Will be down to 11 trades and $235K.

You confident on his JS? That's what worries me
Bewley next to go out when Harley and Cerra come in. Hind only now gets his first game after a bunch of injuries and a quarter of the team coming out.

Personally think Clarke has the best out of them plus the scoring potential.

With the news of Steele dislocating his knee, i may change my trade plans from...

To something like...
Steele > Boak
Clark > Sicily
Atkins > Naish/Clarke

Keeping Baker gives me an extra player this week which could be handy (19 if all are named). It also allows me to trade Steele which should be beneficial in the long run.
These are the three exact trades I am making

Whether that brings you comfort or not I don’t know haha

Think you've convinced me. The thing is if I'm gonna get Clarke, it will have to be this week because if he's on the bubble next week I won't be able to get him as I've planned to trade out ROB and upgrade Baker and Rozee to Boak and Sicily. Can always get Hind in a few weeks if he keeps getting selected. As long as Clarke plays next week I'll be happy as I need the bye cover in my mids. Wish us both luck lol

You picking Sicily over Ryan?
I will be. But tough call to be honest. Just have some uncertainty over his role post Pearce... plus I feel like freos season could fall apart in the second half of the year. Whether that would influence his output I don’t know. Just general pessimism around the dockers probably clouding my judgement to be honest

Don’t blame me if it goes pear shaped...

See I think the Dockers have one of the best runs of any team coming up over the next 5-8 games.

Completely lost on what to do for the next two weeks to finish off my team. Losing Higgins hurt me deeply, unsure why.
Need to move on the blokes that are not playing this week to help with numbers, currently got 13. Yep that bad.

ROB to Grundy next week is basically locked in. Baker and Balta probably join ROB to leave next week.

Any thoughts or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Is it complete folly to avoid Patrick Naish and pick up Logue instead to get Logue's potential extra game this week?

Most of my trade plans involve picking Naish, a rookie and a premium like Boak or Bontempelli but I can afford to bring in Robbie Gray, Logue and Rowan Marshall instead.

This would give me an F7 in Westhoff/Gray/Darling/Marshall in the end.

Clark > Naish
Heeney > Boak
Answerth > Fyfe

Could be a season defining week for me this one. Neglected upgrading my defence in favour of grabbing Fyfe. Heeney I've decided isn't going to be part of my final team so I'm cutting him loose. Hoping he doesn't burn me in the next few weeks.

With so many dead rookies in my team and 12 trades may need to look for a value pick. Pick on of Gray, Brayshaw, Weller and ross.

Or trade rocky to fyfe.
Or have another donut in a crap week and trade duursma to fyfe
