Agree with you @BlueNwhiteHoops if endangered animals are killed just for medicinal purposes. I have read somewhere that animals, and insects, are especially farmed for medicinal purposes, but I don't know which ones are?
On the other hand, I don't like that Western chemical medicines are trialled on rodents, monkeys, etc. That saddens me the suffering they must go through.
Just as well I have Supercoach to take my mind of it :)

Fremantle players Jesse Hogan, Harley Bennell and Stephen Hill underwent scans on Sunday to determine the extent of injuries sustained playing football on Saturday.

Key forward Jesse Hogan was cleared of any serious injury, with scans confirming a right mid-foot sprain which is unrelated to the navicular injury he suffered playing for Melbourne last season. Hogan will return to playing football in the coming weeks.

Unfortunately the news was not so positive for Harley Bennell who suffered a significant right calf tear in Peel Thunder’s win over Perth on Saturday.

General manager of football Peter Bell said that Bennell would have the full support of the football club while he recovers from his latest setback.

“It’s incredibly disappointing for Harley and the club, particularly given the injury setbacks he has endured during the past three years,” Bell said.

“Even more so given that he was slowly building and working his way towards a potential return to playing at AFL level.

“We all know what Harley has had to work through and how incredibly resilient and determined he is.

“We will wrap our arms around him and provide all the support he requires while he rehabilitates the injury.”

Meanwhile Stephen Hill will commence rehabilitation on a strained left hamstring. Whilst the strain is not a significant injury, his return date is yet to be determined.

FREMANTLE star Michael Walters has sensationally been hit with a one-match suspension at the Match Review for his headbutt on Melbourne youngster Jay Lockhart.

But the Dockers are almost certain to challenge the ban at the Tribunal.

Meanwhile, Port Adelaide duo Dougal Howard and Karl Amon have also been banned for one game each for respective incidents during a fiery encounter with Geelong.
