I kinda like making the best team I can. I think WhitF + Fyfe are your men.

I kind of like the the idea of Hore > Logue gives about $380k all up. But this falls short of straight Baker > Fyfe, but might allow it next week. Perhaps consider placing the E on Clarke seeing if you're happy with it and ride the BE differential on Baker and Fyfe for next week.

There is a risk this doesn't come off and Fyfe scores 180 against Carlton.

Then run Logue at D6 for a bit, and look to upgrade say Bewley/Clarke + Answerth in due course to Whitfield, with Logue moving out to D7.

You could even loop Clarke/Bewley if you're dead set on this approach and willing to risk that rookie M8 score this week.

Then for your second trade see if Jarrod Cameron holds his position with the DPP (I know nothing about him) (with Willie Rioli suspension ending) and trade out Duursma, building your cash. The other better forward (IMO) option is Rose, he played well, should hold his spot for a bit.

This double down should give you playing rookie and donut on each line and enough cash for upgrades at various points.

Alternatively, Clarke spuds it up and you just grab Treloar (my pref) or Sloane for baker now. With one Hore(my pref)/Duursma down to Logue.
Then it's a bit sketchy, for upcoming rookie players from memory beyond JC above... Might just need to ride 2 of Logue/Duursma/Hore for a bit and hope a forward rookie coincides with your injury shuflling out a mid rookie for cash via DPPs.... who knows they might play the season out... as might the rucks bhahahaah!

Robbie gray doesn't cover Daniel or Marshall anyway without a Rookie DPP player, so while it's cover it's still only running a mid rookie as cover for 4/6 players. Rather get a Treloar/Fyfe/Sloane/Zorko type over Gray.
Hey mate,
I love the advice - cheers for that!

I can actually afford Hore and Baker to Fyfe and Logue though, with 1.8k to spare - so think I am going to run with that! Let the rookies around them appreciate, and see what happens. Hopefully Clarke gets a bit of a run on, and he can be traded to Cameron, to give me that DPP link - then upgrade Duursma to Whitfield!

I’m judging it off of best kicks in general really as you’d see from the majority of the players there that they are guys with racking 60 metre kicks that are low bullet like passes. That’s what I rate as the best kickers in the league, the ability to have a low or high trajectory and penetrate the air to get to the intended target as quickly as possible, whilst also have extreme accuracy that all of those players have. Whether Kelly or Bont are uncontested or contested they don’t have the ability to do that as well as those above players imo.

Kelly is prodominantly outside mid with only 11 of his 30 possessions a game contested, so he should be a better ball user than any inside player in that role. I rate Merrett and guys like McGluggage as better kicks in that role than Kelly.
Merrent can barely kick over a jam tin, Bont is an infinitely better kick than him.

When Hately gets picked for tomorrow night do you take him? Obviously terrible job security but with that scoring potential at his price is he worth the gamble?

My planned trades are Brodie Smith to Logue and Butters to Sloane. But am seriously considering a double downgrade.

Maybe. Whitfield out for two weeks so could make $90k-140k depending how he performs. If picked!

Considering GWS's record of accurate injury updates I am betting on Whitfield more than 2 more. Doesn't necessarily come back for Hately anyway. It seems like its a raffle in the team. They have a lot on midfield options.

Interested to see how many pick him. I'm leaning towards yes and backing him to play 4+ total heading into league finals. That extra cash will be very handy.

LC on Nick Haynes: He's an interesting one. He's actually probably ahead of schedule and he's training really well. We'll probably just wait until this afternoon to see how he pulls up.

Time spent on the forum doesn't equal quality of contribution... Take it from me!

Think this attitude can be a bit scary for newcomers... all opinions are welcome, just as long as I agree with them...
Agree @bomberboy that "time spent on the forum doesn't equal quality of contribution", but quality of contribution is more important then the time spent on the forum.

Yep, and that's the point I wanted to make.

Some of the best posters on this forum will only drop in once in a blue moon - @All is Wells is one that comes to mind as someone who may not post super frequently, but has arguably the best fantasy record (in my mind) on the forum.

big possibility, however, how much tog will he get? Had 60% in his 1st wafl game.
Simmo has already said he is definitely playing.

Can't wait!!
Will play was the comment. As others noted, 50-60pct game time will be normal for the season. Took a long time to ramp up last time.
Thanks , not looking at him for classic but have been carrying him in draft and hoping he will bring me home strong :D:D

I also agree that we love quality content here and the frequency of posting doesn't matter. But that was not the issue was it... nor was it what I was talking about.

I pointed out that one specific new member has not made one single worthwhile contribution since joining apart from them complaining, sniping & taking pot shots. That is not what we are after here. Nor is it what most people do when they enter a new community.

Think that is about all that needs to be said on the matter.
