Did Burgess get a spot this week .........???? or still emerg.
He's quietly snuck in to become an emergency. He was dropped in round 13 and wasn't even named an emergency at that point in time. Here's hoping he gets a late call up to make us some $$$.

Newnes reliability in getting named was one reason I started him this year. It was looking good for a while, but he has had a few shockers, got rid of him in one of the early bye rounds.

Surprised to see so few players with 50+ consecutive games. Suppose I should bank on all players missing at least one game when planning teams in future...
Have to be both good AND lucky to play 22 games.

Look for players that have a history of 20 games or more and because everyone is vulnerable to missing don't be scared of players that have played around 15-17 but be prepared to ditch 'em.

Just throwing it out there - if you were sitting on 9 trades and had only one defensive position and one mid position to complete your team, would you think of slingshotting Cripps, when they are estimating 1 to 2 weeks?
Maybe best to hold on to Cripps.

https://www.sen.com.au/news/2019/06/28/cripps-provides-update-on-foot-injury/

……...Patrick Cripps has alleviated long term concerns surrounding the foot injury that will see him miss this Sunday’s clash with Fremantle.
The Brownlow favourite suffered the injury late in the game against the Bulldogs and wasn’t able to recover in time for the Dockers, despite the club having a bye in the middle.

While Cripps doesn’t expect to spend too long on the sidelines, he could still miss the Melbourne game next weekend.

“I just pulled up a bit sore after the game, but I think I rolled my ankle in a slight way in the last quarter,” Cripps told Channel Nine News.
“I lasted about five minutes, started to get sore and, look, I walk on it fine, been trying to run, but hopefully this week I’ll get back running.
“I think two (weeks on the sidelines) max, I’m not too concerned about it to be honest.”...…....

Hawkins already near his total from last week! Good signs already with an easy lead and mark + goal.
