Reasonably happy, but stuffed up an E loop and now have Moore’s 101 stuck on the bench in defence ? Stupid mistake, so hopefully it doesn’t hurt me too much. Just soooo annoying though.

15/1428. Rolling with Gawn as C. Projecting 2300ish, but I only see downside in all the projection numbers.

At least I have Lycett, or it could be really bad. Can't believe he's had 3 >160 this year.

19/2,071 - Grundy (vc)

Was tempted for a brief moment of putting the VC on new recruit Lycett...but it was only brief...will take Grundy's score. Good time for Moore to punch out his first ton for the year, though his performance was somewhat soured by Duursma's lowest score for the season.

Brayshaw, Gawn & Setterfield/Hind to come.

Don't have any of the big hitters for Sunday so hoping I can hold ground and not fall too far behind.

Not too shabby but having two premium mids on the pine will stop me from reaching par this round and cost me some league wins.

Have locked in Clarke’s 63 as coverage for one premium. Not sure whether to go with Baker or Answerth as coverage for the other premium

I don’t think there is a lot in this one ex ante. I’d lean towards Baker - named on the wing, and has a slightly higher average. Answerth is playing at home and Brissie look the stronger side at the moment, but I’ve had him on field a couple of times recently and quickly been left with a sinking feeling!

Played: J Kelly, Z Williams, Z Merrett, R Sloane, R Laird, T Kelly, P Dangerfield (VC), I Heeney, J Lloyd, B Grundy, R Gray, X Duursma, C Daniel and J Macrae.

Yet to play: J Hately/N Hind (yet to decide), M Hore, C Oliver, M Gawn, L Neale, H Andrews, W Setterfield and N Fyfe (C).

Forgot to push Duursma off the field and bring Logue on so hopefully I'm not punished severely. 7 players each on both sides of 100 (7 below 100 and 7 100+) so lots of room for improvement next week assuming the returns of P Cripps, J Westhoff and the selection of S Hurn. Hoping to manage a 2250 which should be respectable but likely below par.

18/1737 VC Grundy and including Clarke (E)

Gawn, Brayshaw, Neale, Fyfe, Logue to come.

(I could also put Hind on the field and hope he scores more than Clarke's 63, but probably more to lose than gain in that situation.)

My main head to head has the C of Gawn, so I have the chance to do that as well, but I think I have to stick with Grundy's 133.

Really regretting not bringing in Cunnington instead of Zerrett earlier on.
